Squat technology is highly influenced by the worlds on which they live. It is technology that has been developed for use in very hostile conditions, and is developed in such a way as to overcome those conditions. Squat technology also developed separately from that of the Imperium during the millenia of separation. They have highly developed technology to manipulate gravity and magnetics. They have a very highly developed plasma technology, and the most highly developed warp technology in the known galaxy. Due to heavy gravity conditions on their worlds, they have developed powerful lasers as both tools and weapons. Squat laser weapons are more efficient and powerful than the equivalent Imperium weapons. They have also developed magnetic accelerators to fire projectiles. They have also developed explosives and engineering devices that are much more advanced than those used in the Imperium.
They have converted many of their mining tools to be used as weapons, including poweful laser drills, cutting blades, and power picks. They have also developed anti-grav harnesses and vehicles for military use, these were first used for industrial purposes.
The Squat use of containment fields is developed beyond those that have been developed by the Tech Priests of Mars, or even those developed by the Eldar. These containment fields were first developed to enclose dangerous and volatile materials and for use as containment for the neo-plasma reactor cores.
Lasers
Due to heavy gravity conditions on their worlds, they have developed powerful lasers as both tools and weapons. Squat laser weapons are self-contained, and do not need a backpack power generator. Instead, they use a powerful energy cell that fits into the weapon itself.

Graviton Gun
The graviton gun affects the local gravity field and changes the weight of objects, making them far heavier than normal. This increased gravity will crush the internal organs of any being struck by the effects of the Graviton Gun. It will also crush armour and destroy the internal machinery of vehicles.
The Graviton Gun can be used by Guild troops only.

Plasma Weapons
Squat plasma weapons are the same as Imperium plasma weapons, except that due to their advanced neo-plasma technology they do not overheat.

Stabilised Anti-Grav Harness...............................10 points
The Anti-Grav Harness was developed for use of workers on very high-g worlds and was later developed for military use. Troops wearing Anti-Grav Harnesses are counted as wearing a Jump Pack. Troops move from just a few inches to several feet above the ground, and may move over obstacles and difficult terrain without penalty as long as they have the movement left to clear the terrain and/or obstacle.
