Jubilation Lee (Jubilee or Jubes to her friends) grew up in a fancy Beverly Hills environment with fancy schools and loving parents. Her parents were murdered by Brawn (an evil rich guy) leaving Jubi an orphan. She ran away from the orphanage and became a Mall Rat, living off money given to her because of her fireworks display and avoiding the mall security. Eventually the M-Squad (a group of mutant hunters) decided to go after lil Jubi and just in the nick o time the X Ladies (Dazzler, Rogue, & Storm) saved her. They left in a portal made by Gateway and Juballe followed, leading her right to the X-Men's base. She hid from them and evaded the sucurity devices until the Reavers attaked and Kicked the Sh*%t out of Wolverine. Jubes felt bad so she came out of hiding to save take care of him (thus the life long bond between Jubers and Wolverine). After the Phalanx Covent* Jubilee decided to join Generation X so she could learn how to use her powers better. Shes the wise cracking class clown of Gen X , and her most used phrase is "when I was with the X-Men..."
