Pokemon Red and Blue is the game that
was introduced the United States and was the start of the Pokemon craze.
It was release in the winter
time of last year on the Game Boy. It also improved the sales of Nintendo's
Color
Game Boy. Pokemon Red and Blue was
nominated the best game of 1998, but "Zelda: Ocarina of Time" won. In
Pokemon Red and Blue, you play a
10 year old (i think) named Ash who wants to be a Pokémon Master.
Ash goes
to Professor Oak to pick a Pokémon.
There were three who you could get: Charmander, Squirtle, and Bulbasaur.
He had to travel through Pokemon
World to complete his goal: to collect all 150 Pokemon. But he had more
goals
then that. He had to win all the
badges from gym leaders in each town. Each gym leader got harder and harder
the
farther you went. All Gym
Leadera Have a different type of Pokémon. Anyways, his other goal
is to beat his
enemy, Gary. Gary is a snotty kid
who always brags on how many Pokemon he got and stuff like that. For those
of
you who bought the game and played it,
you already know how it goes. For those who didn't, you really should buy
it even though it's kinda old. I rate it 3 stars out of 5.
