Controller Configurations

Most people are happy with the basic 1.1 Honey controller setup, because it is the default, and by the time people realize that they can change it, they are already used to the default.  So it gets left there.  What I think is the weirdest is the two controller configurations.  Who would think of that?  So here are all of the configurations, and this will help you choose the best one.

1.1 Honey
A: Switch Weapon Start: Bring up watch menu
B: Action/Reload R & L: Aiming on/off
C: Look around/Strafe Analog stick: Move around
D pad: Look around/Strafe Z button: Fire weapons
This is the default setting.  Almost everyone uses this, not because it is the best, but because it is the default setting.  You can bet that if any of these controler configurations were the default, they would be the most popular.

1.2 Solitaire
A: Switch Weapon Start: Bring up watch menu
B: Action/Reload R & L: Aiming on/off
C: Move around Analog stick: Look around
D pad: Move around Z button: Fire weapons
Basically 1.1 Honey with the looking and moving reversed.  This is my setting of choice.  You can easily aim up and down while moving, and that comes in handy a lot of times.

1.3 Kissy
A: Fire weapon Start: Bring up watch menu
B: Action/Reload R & L: Switch Weapon
C: Look around/Strafe Analog stick: Move around
D pad: Look around/Strafe Z button: Aim on/off
A truely strange setting.  It has Z as the aim!  It's a waste, because Z is a button that is easy to hit, and it is being used by something you don't use a lot.  It doesn't make sense.  The R&L switching the weapons is pretty neat, except you can't go foreward and backwards in your inventory with it, which was what I was expecting.

1.4 Goodnight
A: Fire weapon Start: Bring up watch menu
B: Action/Reload R & L: Switch Weapons
C: Move around Analog stick: Look around
D pad: Look around/Strafe Z button: Aim on/off
Even moer screwed up than the last!  This puts the most used functions on the hardest to get buttons, and vice versa!  Only use this one if you are looking for a challenge.

Controller #1 2.1 Plenty Controller #2
B: Action/Reload B: Action/Reload
A: Switch Weapon A: Switch Weapon
Z button: Fire weapons Z button: Fire weapons
Analog stick: Move around Analog stick: Look around
This is the normal two controller setting.  It's pretty difficult to use both hands at the same time.  But you can do more thanyou can with only one controller!

Controller #1 2.2 Galore Controller #2
B: Action/Reload B: Action/Reload
A: Switch Weapon A: Switch Weapon
Z button: Fire weapons Z button: Fire weapons
Analog stick: Look around Analog stick: Move around
Galore... Pussy Galore...  Sorry, just had to say that.  That's who this configureation is named after.  This is the same as the last one, but the analog stick functinos are reversed.

Controller #1 2.3 Domino Controller #2
B: Action/Reload B: Action/Reload
A: Switch Weapon A: Switch Weapon
Z button: Aim on/off Z button: Fire weapons
Analog stick: Move around Analog stick: Look around
With this controller configuration, you can shoot int he cut-scenes, like the second bunker, and the end of Egyptian.  Now you can shut up Baron Samedi once and for all.

Controller #1 2.4 Goodhead Controller #2
B: Action/Reload B: Action/Reload
A: Switch Weapon A: Switch Weapon
Z button: Aim on/off Z button: Fire weapons
Analog stick: Look around Analog stick: Move around
This is the same as 2.3 Domino but with the move around and aiming functions reversed.  Right handed people will prefer this one, having the fire in your right hand.
