The Playstation 2 is the new system by Sony. Although it has not been confirmed, big European developers have supposedly gotten production kits and have started making graphic demos.... and they look good! A member of the press in IGN has said that it's so good it makes the special effects in movies like Independance Day look like a kid did them. The exact specs of the PSX 2 have not been discovered yet but from what I've heard, the system will be more powerful then your average Pentium 233 computer (as will the Dreamcast). So it looks like if these two systems are released Nintendo will saddly be behind again in the gaming industry.
