The Squabble

The Squabble

"We had quite a squabble" writes my aunt,"about the children's tea party. Hank and Bob each wanted to sit between the two girls. Gladys refused to sit next to Hank. Tom wanted to sit next to Amy, and Amy was agreeable-provided she sat at Tom's right. While all this arguement was going on, Charlie and Eileen, who just wanted to eat, sat down and started to demolish the pile of crumpets."
"Fortunately the two seats they selected were such that it was still possible for me to sit the other five at the table (which was circular) in accordance with their demands."
Where did Charlie and Eileen sit with relation to each other?
