A deaf man walked into a hardware store and wanted to buy a saw to saw some wood.
What would be the easist way for him to indicate to the shopkeeper that he
wanted to buy a saw?

A man flew into Los Angeles on Saturday. He stayed for three nights at a local hotel then
flew out again on saturday. Between the two flights, he never left Los Angeles. How could
he leave and arrive on Saturday yet only stay three days?

A single train track runs through a tunnel which goes from east to west.
One afternoon two trains run along the track at the same speed and enter the tunnel,
one going east and the other going west. Neither stops or changes speed,
yet they do not crash. Why?

A man parked his car outside a banck, held up 25 people and ran back to his car with $250.
A policeman saw the whole incident and stopped the man, but just told him off and then let him go. Why?

One morning, A man was found dead in his study. He was slumped over his desk with his gun in his hand.
There was a tape player on his desk. When the detective pushed the play button, he heard, "I can't go on
The world will be better witout me." And then the sound of a gunshot. The detective knew imediately that this man
was murdered. How?

A driver whose car had no brakes was approching a level crossing at 60 miles per hour while a train was approching
the same crossing also at 60 miles per hour. The crossing was unmanned and had no barriers. The train was 100
yards long and was 50 yards from the crossing. The car was 100 yards from the crossing. Neither train nor car stopped or changed spped or direction. The driver did not get out of the car.
How did he survive the crossing?

A man went to the party and drank some of the punch. He then left early. Everyone else at the party who drank the punch subsequently died of poisoning.
Why was the man spared?
