World's most user-friendly strategy/role playing game.
Way cooler that D&D, Twilight 2000 or anything but Cyberpunk, "Battletech", by FASA, is the world's most user-friendly strategy/role playing game.

As a strategy game, the combat system is straight-forward and easy to use. Two six-sided dice are all that are required for play, and the modifiers are easily determined for anyone who can count to 10. Weapons are varied from energy based to traditional ballistic. Mech creation and design are time consuming, but rewarding, especially when you design a `mech that seems to slag everything in sight. Over twenty `mech designs are included with the game, and they make for great references for your own designs. Play the combat portion of the game with as many as 6 friends for a good old-fashioned gunchfest.

As a RPG, "Battletech" offers endless possibilities for terrain, society, culture, politics, and all out anarchy. The future is a wild and varied place where a player or GM can spend countless hours exploring and enjoying all the best of role-playing.
