More than Barbaric Beserkers
Vampire: The Dark Ages is a nice change of pace from the usual White Wolf vampire clichés. But this book has got to be their finest work. It gives detailed background on the Norse people during the Middle Ages, from the height of the Vikings power to their inevitable fall to the forces of Christianity. Its a setting for a Role-Playing Game, and if you can get your Storyteller to move out of the "civilized " east of Europe and into the harsh world of the north, you're in for one hell of a chronicle. For Honor! For Glory! For Asgard!
