Review : A
good book if you are looking for an adventure. Well writen, although
a first person narritive is a bad touch (but it was origanally written
as a story for his children). There are small adventures that spring
off of the main adventure, which hardly ever is boring to read. A
fun book overall. 304 pages.

Review: A
good book to start a wonderful series. You do not even need to know
a thing about Star Wars to read this. It would help a bit so you
can understand some of the history, but the book pretty much explains what
you need to know. A little bit childish, but not too bad. It
will make you want to keep reading through the series. So if you like Star
Wars or even if you don't, I think you would enjoy this book.
2. Shadow

The Dark Jedi named
Brakiss-a former student of Luke Skywalker's Academy who was expelled-
has gained much knowledge in the Force since he left. So much knowledge
that he know is a Dark Jedi Master. He decides to make his own school
to train people in the Dark side of the Force-The Shadow Academy.
But Brakiss has even a greater task than that. One that even Darth
Vader and the almighty and evil Emperor could not meet, kidnap the hiers
of the Skywalker bloodline, and turn them into Dark Jedi... |
Review:
A good continuation of the series. It reveal alot that will make
you want to find out more. It keeps you interested and wanting more.
The plot of the series starts to come into focus. This more or less
really starts the plot of the series, the first one is just a warm-up tp
bring you in. 225 pages.
3. The

During a break in thier Jedi training, Jacen and his twin sister Jania
are reunited with an old friend of thiers named Zekk. He was an orphan
who was free and wild, without a care in the world...until now. He
sees that his friend Jacen and Jania have changed, and how they have grown.
Compared to them, he now is just a lost little boy.
However, a powerful man Brakiss
has seen his potential. Someone who know about jealousy and shame-and
how to use them. Zekk can easily be persuaded to turn to the dark
side, especially when he has nothing to lose... |
Review:
The plot deepens even
more with this book. The main part of this book is not directly continuing
this series, but you start to see what will happen. You see how charaters
introduced in the other books play a role in the main story. Once
again, an enjoyable book. 232 pages.
4. Lightsabers
by Kevin Anderson & Rebecca Moesta 1

Luke Skywalker has come to an unavoidable
conclusion. With the growing threat of the Shadow Academy, he knows
that the New Republic will need all the fighters they can get. At
last, it is time for the kids to make thier powerful Jedi weapons, lightsabers.
There is more than learning
just swordsmanship with these things though. Each of the fighters
must learn about the mysterious bond between themselves and the weapon.
For Jacen and Jaina, sucess means that they will gro stronger in the force,
but for one of thier friends, failure will mean tragedy...

Review:
Once again, another enjoyable book. There is good, unexpexted action.
A whole adventure springs of Jacen and Jania's friend's tragedy, which
keeps this interesting. 232 pages.
