The Link Between Two Worlds

So, you're a big Zelda fan? You're also a big Mario bros. fan? However, the two series take place in a completely different universe, except for a couple pics of Mario in Zelda 5 and Zelda 3. But... hold on a sec? Ever thought about WHY there are pics of Mario in a Zelda game? WHY? The answer is simple: Hyrule and the Mushroom Kingdom take place on the same world.

What world? We have no idea... maybe just "NINTENDO", but that's not the subject. At this point, you most likely think I'm crazy or something, but HEAR ME OUT! You played Super Mario RPG for the SNES, right? If you go back to the Rose Inn after you beat Bowyer, Link, yes, LINK is sleeping in one of the beds! Our beloved hero! In a MARIO game! How did he come to be there? Here's my theory: Link from Zelda 4 was sailing the ocean, looking for adventure. He came across the Mushroom Kingdom, and stayed at an inn, just as Mario came across. Link also met some goombas. THAT, my friends, is the reason why in the world there are goombas in Link's dream in Z4! Not to mention the Thwomps and pirahna plants!!!!!! He met them all at the Mushroom Kingdom!

And, since Mario is likely a famous person throughout "NINTENDO", or whatever world it is, there are pics of him in the Zelda games! In Ocarina of Time, look in the right window in the castle courtyard, and in A Link to the Past, check out many of the houses in Kakariko! There is the italian plumber known as Mario! In the Zelda games! By now, you're probably hearing me through. I have more evidence though. In Zelda 5, Princess Zelda comments "Hyrule, no, the WHOLE WORLD are in danger!" (natch, that's not her exact wording :-), so Hyrule is in fact not the entire world.

Zelda and Mario being on the same world DOES seem farfetched, I admit, but look at all the evidence!!! LOOK AT IT!!!!!!!!!! Several Mario pics in the Zelda games, and Link making an appearence in Mario. Thus, I conclude, Hyrule and The Mushroom Kingdom indeed are on the same world. "NINTENDO", or whatever...

And for the record, here is a list of the games Link has been in besides Zelda 1-5 (and the "forgotten" Zelda games): Donkey Kong Country 2, Tetris (for the NES), and of course Super Mario RPG (which Samus, from Metroid, ALSO appeared in, but I won't go into that). Thanks for reading. See ya in Hyrule.
