Chapter1: Girl Of The Spirt Forest

King Batow of Verdane was a peaceful man. Before his rule the Kingdom of Verdane was full of chaos. But he brought order to his kingdom and it felt like it will last for a long time with his three sons: Gandolf, Kinbois, and Jamca. Everything ended up turning for the worse after a mysterious magician, Sandima, appeared. King Batow became greatly influenced by Sandima's thinking that Grandbell will invade Verdane, and he suddenly changed into a more aggressive man. Gandolf and Kinbois also lost their senses and did what Sandima wishes, but Jamca was the only one with a straight mind. The people of Verdane became worried about the loss of peace and want their peaceful king back.

Sigurd and his army are in Evans, a castle located on the boarder of the Kingdoms of Grandbell, Verdane, and Agustria, Dominion of the Lords. King Eltosian of Nodion come to see Sigurd to ask him why he is there. After Sigurd tells him what is going on with Eidin, Eltosian saids that he will keep an eye on Evans for him so that the ambicious lords of Agustria will not go after it. So Sigurd leaves for Genoa, which is far south of Evans, feeling that his back is protected.

Meanwhile in Marpha, farther into the Kingdom of Verdane, Gandolf and Jamca stayed there with there prisoner, Eidin. But behind Gandolf's back, Jamca fell in love with Eidin and decided to set her free. Eidin was surprised by Jamca's actions, but he sent her out of the castle with Deu, a thief caught by him just a few days before. Deu agreed to reform his ways and protect Eidin until she got to a place that is safe. They went together, through the deep forests of Verdane, northeast to try to reach Grandbell. But on there way they met with Sigurd, and they decided to join his army. But not long after the escape, Gandolf found that Eidin is missing and sent troops out to search for her. A division of Sigurd's army that did not continue down to Genoa defeated this army with ease.

While all this was going on (let me clarify that Eltosian's, Eidin's, and this event are all happening pretty much at the same time), in Genoa, Kinbois felt threatened by Sigurd's army. He decided to take his army out to fight them. Afraid of leaving his castle empty, he decides to make Aila, a mercenary that he just hired, to protect it. She is not very willing, but once Kinbois threatened to kill his prisoner and Aila's young nephew, Shanan, if she did not listen to him, Aila had no other choice but to do as Kinbois wishes.

After reuniting with Eidin, Sigurd's army defeats both Gandolf's army and Kinbois and his army. They continue southward toward Genoa, where they meet Aila. While Cuan fights to try to stop her, Sigurd enters the empty Genoa to find young Shanan, who is very worried about Aila. Sigurd takes Shanan to talk to Aila, and once she sees that Kinbois is dead and that there is nothing to fear, she decides to join Sigurd for a while until she can find a safe place for herself and Shanan.

Meanwhile, just as Eltosian had expected, Eliot of Heirhein tries to invade Evans. With his powerful Cross Knights, Eltosian defeats Eliot's army. Feeling that his own kingdom may soon also be in danger, Eltosian leaves Evans and returns to Nodion.

Sigurd now continues deeper into Verdane and gets to Marpha, the castle where Eidin was kept. Gandolf was there at the castle to fight Sigurd, but there were not many soldiers left at the castle, so it did not take much time to clear this castle. Jamca was not there, and Eidin thinks that he went to see his father in the city of Verdane to try to convince him for the last time to try and find peace. As Sigurd walked around the city he met a young and beautiful woman that knew his name. She said that she was also a prisoner of Gandolf and had talked to Eidin. Sigurd fell in love with her at first sight, but the woman left before he could ask her name. An old man told Sigurd that she is the girl of the Spirit Forest, and that she is really forbidden to come in contact with anyone outside. He also said that anyone that becomes close to her will be cursed, but Sigurd says that he doesn't believe in any legends and that he will try to reunite with that woman no matter what.

At that same moment, Jamca was in Castle Verdane to talk to his father about making a peace agreement with Grandbell. His father, still under the spell of Sandima, refuses to listen to Jamca. Sandima commands Jamca to leave the castle at once with all the troops that are left and fight Sigurd. Jamca reluctantly does as he says. As soon as Jamca left the castle, Sandima kills King Batow, saying that he is now useless. Manfuloi, Sandima's mystical boss, appears and tells him to try to clean up some of the mess in Verdane. He also asks Sandima if he has found Sigyun's daughter, who he needs for the resurection of the dark god. Sandima says that he is still searching, and this gets Manfuloi upset. Sigyun's son is already found, Manfuloi says, and all they need now is the daughter.

Jamca still isn't happy about fighting Sigurd because he knows that this is not what his father truely wants. But at the battlefield Jamca reunites with Eidin, who convince him that he should listen to his own feelings and do what he believes is the best thing to do. Jamca then joins Sigurd's army.

As they continue on their way to Castle Verdane, they go through a deep forest. There, Sigurd meets the woman that he saw in Marpha, who embraces him and says that she tried to forget that they ever met, but that only made her more miserable. Sigurd says that he loves her too, and that he does not believe in any of the legends, and that he wants to marry her. The woman (Diadora) joins him as they continue northward.

Sandima has the ability to use a powerful dark magic called "Fyunril" which can attack over a long distance. Diadora says that she can use her staff "Silence" to prevent Sandima from using his magic. This helps them as they rush northward to defeat Sandima. As they clear the castle find King Batow who is barely alive. He tells Sigurd to be aware of the cult that worships the dark god. But it was too late for King Batow, and he died in Sigurd's arms......

(Sorry this took a long time to complete!! But you can see that this was pretty hard to do (^_^))
