Cuan

Cuan is the prince of Lenster, a kingdom in the Manster District. He is also the direct decendant of Noba and has the ability to use the Earth Spear Geiborg. At the begining of the story he is happily married with his wife, Ethlinn, and has a young daughter, Althena. He is the best friend of Sigurd and Eltosian, who met each other while they were in school in Barhara. The only thing that this happy prince has to worry about is his arch enemy, Trabant, the young king of Thracia. There has been a long feud between their kingdoms, ever since the time of the twelve heros.

One day, Cuan was surprised when Ethlinn came to him and said that they should leave for Chalphy right now to help Sigurd. Cuan remembered the promise that he made to his friend that they will help each other in a time of need, so he was willing to do anything for his friend. But, he knew that he could not take all his knights with him and leave the castle empty for an attack by Trabant's army. So he takes along only a young knight, Finn, and Ethlinn, who insisted on going, to help his friend, not knowing what trouble will be there......

Cuan..... he is actually one of my favorite characters (^_^). First, he is one of those characters (along with Sigurd) that you can use effectively from the beginning because he is in his upper class (Duke Knight) already. Although his consecutive attack technique is almost useless because of his low speed (;_;), his extraordinary strength more than makes up for this. I always sent him out, along with Sigurd and Ethlinn, to fight pirates and liberate cities. He would usually defeat any enemy with one blow!! It's even more exciting when Cuan and Ethlinn's love attack (^_^;) is successful. No enemy has ever survived this one (^_^;).

About his kids, Althena and Leif..... he is the one of the few fathers, along with Sigurd, Eltosian, and Levin, that actually has kids that look like him (^_^). I think Althena is more like him, both in character and looks. Leif is like his mother because of the frequent critical attacks (^_^;) and his out going spirit (Ethlinn definately had this one!). I also think Leif's hair is more orange-brown that his sister (or is that a problem with my T.V.? Will anyone tell me how they feel about this?).

I have read a lot of fanfics about Cuan and Trabant, and I like the relationship that is present between them. Arch enemies because of their birth.... like the family in Romeo and Juliet? I might do something about this theme later....

Another tragic character.... But this wasn't Sigurd, Diadora, or Eidin's fault. It was the fault of.....
