Lachesis

Lachesis is the princess of Nodion, a kingdom in Agustria, Dominion of the Lords. Her older brother, Eltosian, is the young king. She leads pretty much a trouble free life in the castle, protected by her older brother and the Cross Knights, an elite army organized by her brother. She is very beautiful too-- and you can pretty much guess what goes on now that she is at the age to get married. She has numerous suitors-- and it is rumored that Cuan was picked by Eltosian to marry his sister until he turned it down and married Ethlinn instead. But Lachesis is still the prized princess (and I guess Eidin is too), and her current suitors include Prince Levin of Silesia (at the request of his mother, Queen Larna) and Prince Shagall of Agusty, the head kindom of Agustria. But the problem is that Lachesis refuses to marry anyone-- the only man that she loves is her older brother.

Lachesis first appears in Chapter One, where she says goodbye to her brother as he goes to help Sigurd by protecting Evans from the greedy lords of Agustria. She later appears, and joins Sigurd's army, when the lords of Agustria attack Nodion while Eltosian is absent. There are only three knights--Eive, Eva, Alva-- left at the castle to protect her. Will Sigurd reach Noidon in time to save Lachesis and Castle Nodion....?

When I started doing character informations, I decided that I will try to do them in groups of which chapter they first appear in. I have not even finished the Prologue and I am writing about a character that first appears in Chapter 1!! Well, I hope this won't confuse anyone that is following this page and have not played the game......by the way, I wonder how many visitors are like that. I think the Fire Emblem Ring is inviting more people that have played the game, but how about those who haven't? Let's see if I get some feedback.... Anyways, the reason I am doing Lachesis early is at the request of a guest that visits this page (I'm hoping it's quite often.... (^_^)). I hope this will make that person happy.

Back to information on Lachesis. If you have reviewed any data that is created by FE fans, you can tell that Lachesis is the hardest female to find a partner for (not counting Althena..... she is a special case). That is resonable, thinking about her part in the story. As you may know if you have looked at "My Couples" page, I put her with Beowulf. And that is not a coinsidence because the chart shows that he is special in that he is the one that is the easiest to put with Lachesis. This is also logical because of the conversation between her and Beowulf about the fact that he knew Eltosian (some fans say that Beowulf just said that to get close to Lachesis.... and I agree with it). I actually felt really good about putting Beowulf with Lachesis for a while.... although Beowulf is very old (^_^), they look pretty nice together and work together well. That all changed after the last conversation between Beowulf and Lachesis in Chapter 5....... (this is a direct translation of their conversation.... a spoiler, I suppose.... but that's the whole reason behind putting it below the line (^_^))

Lachesis: "Beowulf....."
Beowulf: "Lachesis, if something happens to me, go to Lenster. Finn and Cuan's child are in Lenster. Help them for me."
Lachesis: "Please don't say so!! We will go together!!"
Beowulf: "Lachesis, I must apologize to you."
Lachesis: "What? Why...."
Beowulf: "I knew your feelings....."
Lachesis: "!..."
Beowulf: "Farewell, Lachesis. It was a short time, but I enjoyed it."
Lachesis: "Wait! Beowulf!!"

What was that!! I don't expect it to be as (^0^) as Levin and Fury.... you know what I mean.... but this is terrible!! And like that this man left behind a baby son and an unborn baby.... this makes me furious (#0#)!! At least he could be a little caring, like Azel, or hopeful, like Levin, but this is..... And the kids where not as strong as I wanted them to be (-_-). Delmud is good, but poor Nanna has magic point 5, and 0% as her magic growth level (;_;). Only if I had chosen a better daddy that could make Lachesis happier and have good kids.... I have heard Finn is the best both for the kids and the story (the daughter Nanna will be raised by her dad!!). Daddy will be pretty young, though (^_^). Not as young as Deu, who some people put with Lachesis (second most likely to be together, according to the chart).

Enough about that (^_^). Lachesis's starting class is "Princess", which looks very pretty on the screen (^_^), but is definately weak. No horse, low HP (that runs in the family.....including Eltosian), but pretty good defense. Ethlinn does more of the healing thanks to the fact that she has a horse (^_^). But once she becomes a Master Knight.... it completely changes. Do you know characters like "Cid" in Final Fantasy Tactics or "Habolim" in Tactics Ogre that breaks up the game balance because they are too strong? Levin (after he gets Holsety) and Lachesis (after she becomes a Master Knight) fit this catagory (there are more in the Second Section (^_^)). Able to use any weapon or magic (except the legendary ones and Light), high defense (enough to match Ardan--the maximum), high magic defense, and rides on a horse (^_^), the Master Knight can clear away almost anything alone on the battlefield. Many knights lost their jobs thanks to her (^_^). But it's sad that Nanna did not carry her mother's class. One Master Knight in each section is enough (^_^).

Boy I wrote a lot this time!! I think this is enough for now.....
