Everyone has heard of Tarot Cards, and most people probably think that no deck of cards can be laid out and correctly tell them things. But I my belief from what I've seen, that is completely false.
The first thing that I ever picked up related to the Occult that wasn't incense, or a candle was a deck of tarots called Orishas. They were my first and up to the present, the deck I suggest to anyone interested, but they are not the best, first time deck.
I know own a second deck called 'The Dragon Tarots,' the art on this deck is great, and it is very close to the traditional deck. This is a much simpler deck to use, and doesn't give you a lot of variety, or flexibility for the beginner, but it is good with getting the 'feel' for it.
Using these cards is not something you can just laugh, throw them out and expect a proper answer. If you can't focus your mind, and let all material and physical ideas go from your head, only leaving those of your subconscious behind, I advice you to learn if you actually are interested.
Now for the beginning user there are universal rules of tarots that are not always written in the books they supply you, but which are very important.
