The Sabre heavy fighter was one of the best terran fighters during the Enigma and Deneb sectors campaigns. It was equipped with multiple missiles, particle and mass driver cannons as well as a rear turret. In spite of its size the ship was fairly manouevrable and accelerated well. The Sabre had a very strong armor and its shields, even if rather weak, could regenerate at a fast rate without leaving the fighter's armor too exposed to enemy hits.
