The Thunderbolt VII isn't as manouvrable as the Arrow or the
Hellcat, but with its impressive array of weapons is a formidable
opponement for almost all Kilrathi fighters. It's also equipped
with a single Torpedo, which grants the fighter cap-ship kill
capabilities, and with a rear turret, that even if isn't very
useful to ice any enemy, can keep any furball at distance unless
he wants to get perforated by the Mass driver. The only threat
for a Thunderbolt might come from experienced Darket pilots, that
could hit the sides of the fighter thanks to their high speed and
excellent manouvrability: however that's where the Tbolt missiles
come in handy; just lock an HS on a Darket and turn those cats
into space dust! :) |
