WCP: Midway pilots and crew

Here are some of the members of the crew of the TCS Midway with short biographical notes.

[ Casey | Maestro | Blair | Stiletto | Zero | Finley | Spyder | Rachel | Dallas ]

Lance R. Casey:

Lt. Lance R. Casey
Name.......... : Lance R. Casey
Rank.......... : 1st Lieutenant
Callsign...... : -
Current Status : Active

Lance Casey joins his comrades in the TCS Midway Briefing room
Casey comes aboard the Midway just after graduating from the Academy. He has been one of the first pilots to graduate and has been sent on the Midway as his first assignment on a ship. Lance is the son of "Iceman" Casey, who was a pilot aboard the TCS Tiger's Claw during the Kilrathi war. Iceman died in combat, ambushed by an overwhelming Kilrathi force, two months before his son was born. Casey's main problem with being the son of a hero is that everyone thinks he had an easy life at the Academy and that he was sent on the Midway not for his merits, but for his name; therefore Casey has to prove himself and his abilities during his tour on the Midway: the chances to do this will not be few.

Maxwell "Maestro" Garrett:

2nd Lt. Maxwell "Maestro" Garrett
Name.......... : Maxwell Garrett
Rank.......... : 2nd Lieutenant
Callsign...... : Maestro
Current Status : Active

2nd Lt. Garrett taking part to a victory party in Pilot's Country after the success of a mission
Maestro is Casey's best friend. They graduated together at the Acedemy and then he was moved  along with Casey to the Midway after trying to arrange a simple diplomatic assignment for both of  them. He's a good and reliable pilot, loyal and close to Casey as much as family.

Chris "Maverick" Blair:

Commodore Chris "Maverick" Blair
Name.......... : Christopher Blair
Rank.......... : Commodore
Callsign...... : Maverick
Current Status : MIA (Missing in action)

Commodore Blair aboard the TCS Midway during the ships's maiden voyage.
After his long career as a fighter pilot and his supposed promotion to Brigadier General after the Border Worlds crisis, Blair has now left the Space Forces and entered the Fleet with the rank of Commodore. Blair developed the new super-carriers of the Midway class and his assignment on the TCS Midway consists in observing how the ship performs in combat situations. The Alien invasion surely is a good testing ground for the Midway's offensive/defensive capabilities. Infact Blair wanted the ship to be as powerful as an entire battle fleet, bigger than any other Terran carrier and with the widest fighter complement ever embarked. Blair's status in the end of WCP is MIA: he might be dead aboard an alien installation or he could have escaped death somehow, yet we don't know. I think it's not right : Blair survived many hardest missions and he's now supposed to be dead in that way? I hope the guys at Origin will change their minds about this.

Jean "Stiletto" Talvert:

1st Lt. Jean "Stiletto" Talvert
Name.......... : Jean Talvert
Rank.......... : 1st Lieutenant
Callsign...... : Stiletto
Current Status : Active

Jean Talvert taking part to a mission briefing aboard the TCS Midway
As Casey arrives on the Midway, Stiletto is currently in charge of the Diamondback squadron, the one to which both Casey and Maestro had been assigned. Stiletto is a skilled pilot, cold and sharp as her own callsign suggests. Anyway she's a good element to have in your wing.
Casey: "Where's Stiletto?"
Maestro: "Who cares? Probably she's somewhere in a pack of ice!" :-))))))

Terrrence "Zero" O'Hearn:

Lt. Terrence "Zero" O'Hearn
Name.......... : Terrence O'Hearn
Rank.......... : 1st Lieutenant
Callsign...... : Zero
Current Status : Active

A shot of Lt. O'Hearn taken during one of his visits to Pilot's Country
Zero is another Midway pilot and one of Casey's new friends. His piloting skills are good enough and he's also a reliable wingman. His father was a Confed scientist who's been working during the Kilrathi war as an expert on the Cats; he studied their history, their technology, even their behaviour saying that in the end that information would let the Terrans win the Kilrathi. Well, maybe he was right after all.

Aurora Finley:

Lt. Commander Aurora Finley
Name.......... : Aurora Finley
Rank.......... : Lieutanant Commander
Callsign...... : <none>
Current Status : Active

Commander Finley working hard to solve the mistery behind the new alien threat
Finley is the officier in charge of the operations of the Science Division aboard the Midway. Her task is to explain what seems unexplicable, even where these alien bugs are coming from. Her work and her scientific knoweledge will be instrumental in the defeat of the aliens. Moreover she's a nice woman, haven't you noticed? (O.k., but Flint's definetely better :-))

Mark "Spyder" Bowen:

Maj. Mark "Spyder" Bowen
Name.......... : Mark Bowen
Rank.......... : Major
Callsign...... : Spyder
Current Status : Active

Major Bowen packing Hawk's properties after his death
Spyder is one of the senior officiers on the Midway, flying in the Black Widows Squadron. He's a bit rude with newcomers, nevertheless his behaviour doesn't affect his judgement of a pilot: infact Spyder proves to be a reliable wingman as well as an experienced wing leader.

Rachel Coriolis:

Chief Tech Rachel Coriolis
Name.......... : Rachel Coriols
Rank.......... : Chief Tech
Callsign...... : <none>
Current Status : Active

Chief tech Coriolis, one of Confed's best mechanics, busy with her job on the flight deck
Rachel is back working on fighters aboard the Midway. She knows her job well and will make your fighter fly even better than it used to before. Anyway don't bring her back only spare parts of your ship or even worse no fighter at all: she'd be capable of kicking you out of the Flight roster...

Jason "Dallas" Fargo:

2nd Lt. Jason "Dallas" Fargo
Name.......... : Jason Fargo
Rank.......... : 2nd Lieutenant
Callsign...... : Dallas
Current Status : KIA (Deceased)

A shot of Lt. Fargo taken while he was checking his investiments on Earth from the Midway's Briefing Room
If you picture all pilots as brave heroes of Confed... well you'll need to change that picture after meeting Dallas: nervous, impressionable and easy to get scared, Dallas signed with the Navy only for the cash; as he was used to said "cash's everything". In the cockpit he wasn't very flashy and if action got too hot Dallas was likely to lose his head: this probably costed him his life during one of the alien's many attempts to destroy the Midway.
