This is clearly a one country attack on Iraq, as well as it's neighboring
countries.
The first issue however, is that the U.S. is not the only
superpower in
the world! There are other countries (nations) at least as strong
as the U.S. We are not invincible, we are vulnerable to other countries,
like South Africa, who we bombed earlier in 1998.
Yes, Suddam Hussein did, in fact, create weapons of mass destruction, and
did not allow UN officials, from various countries, inspect to see if
there were any weapons of that nature present.
But that still does not warrant, or rectify,
the US's "split second" decision to deploy
an attack on Iraq.
President Clinton could have began this strike on Iraq
in Oct. or Nov. of 1998, but with it approaching one day until Impeachment
Proceeding, William J. Clinton began one day before his impeachment.
Most believe that he is immoral in proceeding with this one day before his
fate as well as before the holy month of Ramadan, a one month of fasting,
spirtually, as well as physically, in which no sexual intercourse occurs and
no eating occurs as well.
And you can't bear to think about how many innocent Iraqis lost their lives
because of this shamless man trying to save his butt from impeachment.
If President Clinton had not lied under
oath, or had sexual affairs, then none of these attacks on Iraq would have
happened.
Fellow Americans, open your eyes!
We are better than to have a man who, supposetly, is too good to tell the
truth, whole truth, and nothing but the truth, Under Oath!
to the American people. If we aren't good enough to hear the truth, than
who is? It's not a matter of the fact that he had an affair, (almost
everone does that today) but that the fact that he lied under oath, and
comitted the Four Articles
of Impeachment.
I can't understand how people who don't want the man impeached explain to
their kids how our constitution works- or how no one, not even the president
of the U.S. is above the law! It tells the young ones in America that
Lying is okay and that nothing is wrong with it- it encourages them to lie.
It all shows absolutely no virtues what-so-ever!
And that is exactly why Mr. William J. Clinton must not be
Censored, but be sentenced to Impeachment. With Censorement Clinton will
lie again, about some other matter, everyone knows it.
We have a strong enough constitutional government that we can be unified,
as one, and still support the troops, that shouldn't even be in Iraq, had
it not been for Pres. Clinton.- It is true that President Clinton did
infact get us into this trouble and is liable to get us into more if we
don't take him out for sure!
Back in 1991, in the Gulf War, we faced these same issues, and we will face
them forever.
In the Bible, (Ex. 20.13) it clearly says, "Thou shalt not kill".
And that exclusively means not to kill!
Killing is plain out unmoral and should only be used when absolutely necessary.
Just because Iraq, and/or Suddam Hussein does not allow the UN to inspect
still doesn't allow the U.S. to destroy the innocent Iraqis people
(including buildings, command centers, etc.).
They have done absolutely nothing!
These matters must be resolved diplomatically;
War is always the last resort.
The one and only reason for the U.S. to "strike back" on Iraq, or any other
country, is if that country strikes first.
In this case, however, Iraq did not strike at all. Like stated before,
this matter could have been resolved in some other diplomatic form.
And no, I myself, would not like to be killed by their nuclear and
weapons of mass destruction. But one has to realize that when one says
that they'll use them again just because they've used them before is
absolutely ludicrous. To say such a ludicrous statement is, because
one doesn't have the evidence, beside the fact that their hiding them from
the UN.
One's got to ignore, just for a moment, the fact that they're making those weapons of mass destruction and put yourself in their shoes-
Imagine going to sleep wondering dreamlessely if you will survive the brutal attack and wake up alive...How would we like them to bomb us while we were sleeping, at 2 or 4 in the morning (Which has no scientific purpose) How would our kids take it?
Everyone knows only a country that does this so called "operation" at night in waves in the early morning hours is cold!
The other side to this issue is that the U.S. is not affliated with,
and/or/for the UN in any way, shape, or political form;
therefore the U.S. should not get involved in other countries issues!
One might say "When does the U.S. have the right to engage in combat?"
That question is easy to answer, "When that country engages first, into
combat with the U.S. first."
It's the most elementary way to do and most likely, the best.
We, as a world, are quickly approaching a new millennium, and the
grounds as to what will happen to the saftey and well being of the U.S.,
over the next few years, are frightening as we engage in combat with
other nations. We, as the U.S., are slowly,
but surely digging ourselves into just a bigger hole to get out of.
And too, Iraq may not be retaliating immediately, but it will come back
to haunt us as other nations (ie. Africa, Iraq, etc.) contain this
hatred. But soon enough, as time goes by, these nations will not be able
to hold any more and will fight back hard, putting the safety of our
country in grave danger. Go Ahead! Laugh!-
We may be winning now, but soon enough, we will be paying for this, all
this, later.
Now, All of us, as Americans, can do now, is sit... and wait.... for that
time to come......
