ATOMIC BOMBERMAN TIPS
These tips are my opinion.
If you disagree, get your own page, if you want to add one, email
me and I might add it. Please note that I usually play Classic
Green Acres so most tips have been used there.

1 The best item in
the game is the puncher.
It can get you out of almost any situation, regardless of how many other
bombs are around you (of course if you have 3 diseases, you're pretty
much screwed beyond beleif, especially with certain combinations :).
-
2 The trigger
is very useful in team games. If the oposing team has one player
and your team has two or more, suicide on that player (of course,
if you manage to blow it, you can just end up killing yourself, your team,
your dignity, etc).
-
3 SPOOGE
is always a lot of fun. Of course you need lots of bombs
. Useful stratagies include trapping people in from long distances,
flodding areas of people who happen to have really bad diseases (ie "poopsy,"
and short fuse). Spooging at the wall and punching them all over
the wall, and keeping people with bad diseases far, far away.
-
4 The Mother of all
Flames
, or lots and lots
of flames
, can catch
a player off gaurd. Drop one a couple at the opposite wall to your
opponent(s). You'd be supprised how often they don't notice.
Famouse last words: "I didn't think your flame would be so big".
-
5 Ahhh, the kicker
. Many happy kills using this little baby. An AI is a sucker
for a bomb sliding across the screen. Not only that but kick two;
one after another, and the AI just doesn't seem to know what to do.
A very lethal combination is to kick a trigger down the screen and detonate
it as soon as it reaches some poor sap. Of course it has it's limits,
so when trapping in someone with a kicker, make sure you lay down two bombs
to keep them from escaping.
-
6 Jelly bombs
always
make things interesting. Howevery this little suckers can turn on
you. Don't get stuck between bombs with a jelly bomb. When
it bounces back and forth it can render your kicker useless. Of course
throwing them over the wall or bricks at people is always fun, especially
when they don't know where it's going to land, Of course, neither
do you. Sometimes they come back and land behind you :). It
also eliminates your ability to stop a kicked bomb, though it bouncing
around can usually confuse, kill, suprise, and let's not forget piss off
a few people.
-
7 The skate
is often underestimate. I find that it is one of the most valuable
tools. Having lots of these gives you a fantastic advantage in one-on-one
chaos, but you can also reach any other uncovered items much faster than
anyone else. Giving you first dibs on triggers, kickers, etc.
-
8 The single poison
and the ebola
. Can
be lots of fun, or lost of misery. Combinations you don't want to
have: Anything with short fuse and "poopsy" (the brake doesn't help).
Anything with the brake. Swapping, in the middle of a ten player
game. These can be instant death, although holding down the bomb
dropping button when you have the glove will toss all of your bombs that
you happen to be spitting out. In this case it can be useful to also
have short fuse so that tossing bombs over the wall will kill most people
on the other side. Unless you're in netplay, you might try trapping
your self in with the poison and hope for a swap. In theory this
work well. In reality you end up killing yourself about ten times
more than anyone else. It's a good idea to have the kicker or the
puncher just in case :).
