Kid Kinesis

Origin

Eric Dimmock is your typical teenager. Slobby, rebellious, contemptous of adults. He wears his baseball cap backwards. He like obnoxious music - the more talentless the band the better. He goofs off in school and doesn't pay attention. At least he has a good reason for the last one - he spends his nights bouncing around town (literally) and fighting crime. When he's not being a regular teenager, Eric is Kid Kinesis - a mutant with amazing powers over kinetic energy. He can literally soak it up, and then use it to shoot himself around, or release it at a target.

Eric is tall and scrawny although all the exercise he's been getting lately is starting to build up his frame somewhat. He has straggly brown hair and a bad complexion - the source of a lot of his irritation about life in general. He lives with his father - a harried executive for an oil company - since his parent's divorce, and the long hours and frequent trips his father's work requires means he's often home by himself. Since his mutant powers surfaced at puberty, Eric has slowly worked out what he can do, and right now his father's absences suit him just fine. They hardly talk anyway...
