Master Han
Appearance
Master Han is a Korean gentleman in his late 40's, beginning to go
bald and with greying hair. He also runs slightly to fat, having a
noticeable paunch. He has long hair at the back and a drooping
mustache. Master Han normally dresses in flowing robes with a
scholar's hat, as befits his present position. He practices martial
arts every day and beneath his wrinkled skin, the muscles are knotted
like old tree roots. Master Han can easily resist the strength of men
half his age, but apart from his martial arts, other exertions are
beginning to tire him more easily.
Notes
One of the foremost members of the Jade
Phoenix outside the Middle Kingdom, Master Han has never been a
master of philosophical discussion, preferring to solve matters with
his meaty fists. He is however, shrewd and learned in the internal
arts, Indeed, it is almost impossible to touch him if he does not
wish it, even if he is blindfolded - this is a common exercise for
his students. Once a roving martial artist, he has tested his skill
against many of the world's finest. However, now that he is beginning
to age and put on weight, he has retired to a life of contemplation
and teaching martial arts in the town of Aoji in northern Korea. He
still meets with his colleagues in the Jade Phoenix, and will eagerly
assist if his help is needed, but he is less active in seeking out
challenges than he once was. He has even taken up the art of fine
cooking in his retirement.
