++ Biel-Tan Warlock - "Jason" ++ In case you didn't notice, I painted (and named) my warlocks after the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. |
||
++ Biel-Tan Warlock - "Kimmy" ++ Ah, Kimmy, my
dream come true. Really good contrast between the white/green, as
well as good contrast between the highlights and recesses of the
robes. The only problems with this mini is the blending on the
sword. I've always highlighted with drybrushing only, and I tried
to blend with only drybrushing... chalk that up to a failure. |

Probably my
least favorite of the warlocks, Trini came out very blotchy. Her
robes were a good design that was just poorly executed... The
"rounded" loops of green on the robes came out too jagged, but
being the lazy foo that I am, I won't go touch 'em up. |

The most recent
painted warlock (circa 2000), I was quite happy with the way he turned
out. My only regret was that the green of his face/hands matched
too closely to the goblin green/dark angels green of the robes.
Sorry, I don't remember what color I painted his face. |

++ Biel-Tan Warlock - "Billy" ++ This is actually the first of the warlocks that I painted. I rather liked the light blue recesses of the white robes, but couldn't seem to duplicate it on the others, hence the darker look. |
||
++ Biel-Tan Warlock - "Zack" ++ I was happy with the cartoony flame design of the robes. Two things of note on this model are the fact that I highlight black with shadow gray, instead of a dark blue or pure gray; and the blending on the fur cape of Zack, I'm happy with this model. |
