The New House
Inside and Out of the Lake St. Louis House

(Return to Main Index)

The front hallway. Hmmm…seems a bit sparse at the moment. Need to work on that. But at least it’s clean. ;)

Two different angles on the living room. Nice and large…again…needs a lot more decorating. And that coffee table has got to go.

Two angles on the kitchen. I like the stove on the center island…very convenient.  The built in microwave and stove is nice too. This room is next to the living room. The door next to the refrigerator goes to the laundry room and the garage.

Laundry room. Needs no explanation. Connects to kitchen and garage.

Off the main entryway, there are stairs that go down to the basement. The basement is unfinished, but has roughed in beams so that rooms can be constructed. There is also a cedar walk-in closet down there.

The Master Bedroom. Very comfortable space and big enough for the furniture. These back rooms have 2” wide white wood blinds.

The Master Bedroom has an adjoining walk-in closet. I swear my dorm room at college was smaller than this.

The Master Bath has two vanities, a deep tub, and a shower stall adjoining it. (Shower and toilet are through the door you can see me standing in when looking at the reflection in the bottom picture.)

There is also a front bathroom (in the main hall), but I’ll be darned if I could figure out a way to get a good picture of it. ;)

My cluttered office. There are two small bedrooms in the house. One is my office and the other is my workout room.

The workout room also doubles as a guest bedroom. The futon folds out and is Queen-sized and comfortable and the treadmill can store to the side of the room when guests are there.

Rooms not pictured: Front bathroom and Dining Room. Couldn’t get good angles on either of them. I also didn’t take pix of the basement because it’s essentially a huge open area. Someday it will be an entertainment area (big-screen TV, wet bar, pool table), but that’s after I’m rich. ;)
