The Stats:
July 12: We've had the hardwood floors professionally refinished after ripping up the nasty orange shag carpet in all the rooms. The back bedroom and front bedroom on the first floor have been repainted, as well as the kitchen. The three layers of wallpaper in the living room are down to two, but they will not be coming off. We'll have to paint over them. (Yikes!) This weekend, we're tackling the kitchen floor and putting in ceramic tile.
July 23: Drove back from Monroe with all of Dad Rohde's spare furniture. The floor is still not complete in the kitchen (but we're closer!) and we officially move in Saturday. Oh well, there's always take-out....

Hey, there's a nice hardwood floor underneath this carpet! Hey, there's even nastier wallpaper under the other wallpaper. Pictures of the painted room to come. It's now Freesia Purple.
This is the computer room. Blue walls and orange carpet. High gloss paint forces us to injure our wrists from sanding it down.

The house from the street. The ramp is now gone. That's not a 1-car garage you see there, as we have determined our cars are too wide for the door! :)
