NEW images are the inkpen, cola, tree and the rose

New images are the ones highlighted with a border

This is quite a good example of how raytracing affects opacity and reflection. I saw a tutorial for Bryce 3D in which they had made a broken glass, and I said to myself if they can do such a thing in a stupid program, surely MAX would be able to do it much better.....

Just an army of Chessmen, again this iamge was made to show the quality of the raytracing engine of MAX.

An Image done in Bryce 3D, if no good for anything else, Bryce is the best thing for easily making landscapes...nothing beats it at that.

Armageddon.... Well, this image is not as complicated as it seems at first sight, though creating the smoke was tough enough..

One of my latest images, this was taken from a place called Dairy Den here, I hadn't eaten an ice-cream in a long long time and remembered the cone.....its more like a waffle cone

FOR LINK 23
Something incomplete, I wanted all pastel hues in this, even the fog is pastel shaded!!! by the time I finish it, I'm sure it will get better.

Some imagination I have??? Wanted to model a landscape in max without using any plugins and ended up making a hostile alien planetscape instead

I won a copy of Quake II last week in a contest, well, I have been with the game a long time and decided to make a 3D theme on the Quake 2 logo....

This ring is a raytraced model, and I tried to get some nice highlighting on the diamond as well as the metal.

Well well, Star wars at last, the models are from the SWMA.net archive, while all the other details, the Visual Fx and the planet texturing was done by me. The final animation of this particular scene is 500 frames, and I must say it looks pretty neat too.

Finally, some real world organic modelling in NURBS. This is for Neil Blevins who has inspired me to try and give my best output. He seems fond of horror themes, so I decided to model him only (haha j/k)

These are all part of the image below which is supposed to be a still life rendering. The main objectives here are the opacity and the filtering that the light will affect.

This Vase is not raytraced. I was tempted to go in for raytracing, but worked around the maps in 3D studio 2.5 to my advantage and created an image that is as good as a raytraced one.

Umm, lots of time spent in creating this inkpen to get all the parts just right. I wanted it to be like one of those expensive Mont Blanc ones.

This is a rendering in Max, brought into photoshop, and after various passes with different filters, I seem to have achieved a cool image that I use as my wallpaper.

(500 KB but worth it at 1536 X 1152)

(1536X1152 LOW QUALITY 250 KB)

(800 X 600 Lo Res 64 KB)
This is the still life rendering that I've created, I don't think that I could have done more in this image. Notice the reflections as well as the refractions. This took a lot of time and effort to complete, but I'm sure you'll agree as to the quality of the image after looking at it.

All for now, folks,

Other Images will be added soon. THANX
