Chrono Trigger is one of the best games I have played on the Super NES. It has a story that spans millions of years, memorable characters, and much more. Even the graphics are exceptional for a Super NES game. This game even lets you get to know some of the bosses(Which provide Comic Relief during tense moments). Also, this game is LONG. It took ME (an RPG expert) almost 40 hours to finish it. Another plus is the fact that the game scatters minigames throughout to keep most people from getting bored. The graphics are exceptional for a Super NES game, and the multiple endings and plot twists add to the already deep story line. It seems that, if you play your cards right, the game can be different every time you play it. Another innovation is the fact that you can actually see the enemies you are going to fight before you fight them. Throw in an unforgettable soundtrack by Yasunori Mitsuda, Nokiro Matsueda, and Nobuo Uematsa, and you have a winner. I give this game a 9.5 because, even though this game IS great, it can get a little redundant at times. |
