The undead result of capturing the enemy instead of slaughtering them outright, they are excellent foot soldiers if you let them get four or five levels under their belts. Luckily, they seem to retain the experience of the creatures they were in their previous life, so you usually don't have to worry about first-level Skeletons cluttering up your dungeon. Deploy them in the thick of Melee alongside your Orcs, Demon Spawns, and Bile Demons. Note that once the battle is over, try to keep skeletons away from your Bile Demons, since they're natural enemies.
Skeletons will not enter your dungeon through the entrance portals, but they will usually be created when a humanoid creature dies in your prison.
