Initially,
these little oddities are better suited to a freak show than combat, but
they do become useful at level 5, at which point they can start freezing
your foes. It's not usually worth the money to train them past that point,
though.
Tentacles are elusive creatures, but only moderate fighters. They hardly ever appear, and when they do, there's not much you can do with them until they gain the ability to freeze enemies at level 5. Occasionally, you'll get a Tentacle once you've built a Temple. Try to establish their lair near water, and use them to guard any water near weak points in your dungeon.
