Usagi Yojimbo
The Birth
Born int the year 1923 in a small rural village in Japan, Usagi lived with his father, his mother having dies during child birth. His father during that labor realized that his son being born early would die as well. Being a know as a Wu-Jen among the villagers and a great healer, little did the other know he also communicated with darker spirits as well. So his fater set about summoning one of these beings that night to force it to make his son live. The being granted the mans request. But played a trick on the man with out his knowledge, the Son was to die on his 21st birthday
Early Life
Usagi grew up well and strong, and studied from his fathers books with out his knowledge. Seeming to have been drwn to darker aspects. When he was nearing his 21st birthday, he attempted to summon an entity of his own. He ended up summoning, a being which should have been far beyond his abalities, if not for the fact that being had use for Usagi. The being granted Usagi an abality which he now sometimes looks upon as a curse other times as a great merit. Shortly after this time his father once again summoned the same demon, he did those many years ago. As the demon laughed at the man Usagi walked in just as the hour of his birth arrived. Seeing the demon and somehow knowing what it was he mutterd a few words and in a flash of hellish fire destroyed the creature. but the demon got in one final shot and destroyed his father.
What Now
Usagi decided to leave the village taking with him his fathers books and an Hierloom Katana that had been in his family for hundreds of years. Early in his travels he met his familiar. He traveled around alot and the spirit that gave him his gift came to him often at first as he learned about the denziens of the world other then mere humans. Creatures that he was being guided to destroy. His travels now as the year 1999 comes near its end bring him to San Fransisco
