PMB's Story

It's 6:30 AM and I am ready to head to Oak's lab. I am 11
and about to receive my Pokemon License. I took a shower,
and then dressed in the usual jeans, shirt, and official
Pokemon League hat that my friend Ash gave me. I also live
in Pallet Town right next door to Ash. Now we are rivals
to each other but we don't act like it. After I ate
breakfast I went to Oak's lab.

On the way I stopped to remind Ash so that he would not be
late. On the way there we ran into Gary and his friend
Jack. "Hi." I said. They just ignored me and kept on
walking. Ask and I knew what we were going to get. I was
going to choose Squirtle and Ash was going to get
Bulbasaur. When we got there it was about 7:45PM on the
way there we also ran into Misty who liked to fish near our
river. "Hi guys." she said. And then she asked, "Which
Pokemon are you guys going to get.". So we told her.

Then it was time. We would be receiving our first Pokemon.
"Hello everyone." said Professor Oak. "Today you will get
your first Pokemon. I also have a Pokemon that I have not
mentioned to anyone yet. It is called Pikachu. Now that
you are all here, you may choose a Pokemon. Although I
recommend capturing a wild Pikachu, you may choose this
one. Now Phil you may choose first," said Professor Oak.
"I will choose.... SQUIRTLE." I yelled. Then Ash chose
Bulbasaur. Then it was Gary's turn. He chose Pikachu. Then
Jack decided he was not ready. Oak was going give the
Charmander to the winning trainer in a 1 on 1 on 1 battle.
Ash and I decided to gang up on Gary and then battle each
other.

We all sent our Pokemon into battle. Then Squirtle used
tackle on Pikachu. Then Bulbasaur used vine whip. Squirtle
used water gun and Pikachu was out of the fight. I thought
about my whole attack and I had Squirtle use water gun
then, before Bulbasaur could attack I had Squirtle use
tackle but, that didn't finish Bulbasaur off. Bulbasaur
used vine whip but Squirtle dodged and quickly tackled
Bulbasaur. Now Bulbasaur was out of the fight and I had
won the Charmander. "Good job Phil. Here is your
Charmander," said Professor Oak. Now I could start my
journey with two Pokemon rather than one. Gary had already
left with his Pokeballs and Pokedex. Oak gave Ash and me
our Pokeballs and Pokedex and said "Good luck.".

I went back to my house to heal my Pokemon and show them to
my parents. Then I started off for Route 1.
