This is the Third Battle in the "So You Want To Be An Archmage" Tournament
Luminere smiles, morphing to each and every person present until the smile turns to a blank expression of conversation and luminere returns to his common ole wizard form
Jaxom signals the start of the 3rd duel in the Tournament.
OmegaMan lays his staff on the ground before him. OmegaMan waves his hand over the staff. THe ground begins to tremble. A large crack tears apart the land between OmegaMan and Luminere. A strange whistling sound is heard from within the chasm. Winged typo daemons and vicious Lag Monsters come surging out of the pit, and attack Luminere, slowing his connection tremendously and tearing flesh from his bones.
Luminere morphs into a slimy chocolate pudding(the creature not the dessert) and the monsters claws and talens pass through without so much as a hitch, but each time they slash, poison seeps into the body, and they retreat to the ghastly hell from which they came, after calling upon the speed of the mighty roadrunner his connection speeds up allowing him a moderate about of drawing power for his skills. He looks at omegaman with fire in his eyes, the fire seems to be alive, yet it makes you want to sway along with the licking of the flames, and as sudden as then feeling arrives it passes leaving you disorientated, coming to you are within a globe made of flame,shrinking down upon you, and as it does the ground beneath your feet starts to scorch from the searing heat
OmegaMan raises his hand towards the approaching flames. A cold, chilling wind sweeps through the forest. The flames appear to die down a bit and then freeze, as if becoming ice. OmegaMan gestures again and the ball of frozen fire shatters into millions of twinkling pieces. OmegaMan taps the ground with his hand. The slight tap appears to be magnified greatly as a waves of earth rises up and froms a solid sphere of metal around Luminere. OmegaMan clenches a fist as the sphere drives deeply into the ground while contracting tightly around Luminere, crushing even his smallest morph.
Luminere is plunged deep within the earth and thinks of a way to escape, after only a seconds thought, the natural thing comes to him, he uses his teleport and blinks into a an air pocket deep within the earth, all you can hear above is a rushing sound similar to that of some gnomish machine grinding dirt coming from beneath, finally a large creature, namely a giant ant pulls its self from the soil, arrising behind omegaman it pins him down with 3 of its legs and proceeds to ravage his scrawny mage frame
OmegaMan isn't THAT scrawny, and he thanks the knight for that, but the giant ant is still a threat. OmegaMan flashes a hard stare at the ant which promptly keels over and dies... if looks could kill... OmegaMan waves a hand at the large ant carcass. The carcass begins to twist and bend. Finally, a large, spiked ball stands in the place of the fallen ant. A proportionally large handle attached to the ball is grabbed by an enormous hand. The hand plunges into the earth and pulls out a kicking luminere and precedes to wahlop him with the spiked ball.
OmegaMan hopes he spelled wahlop right...
Luminere is getting battered with the spiked ball and has little energy for much bedazzlement, so he does the first thing that comes to mind, he screams at the hand with a screeching voice and the hand runs away on its fingers, yapping like a scaled dog and leaving the ball midflight coming towards luminere, he morphs into an upright trampoleen which attaches an elastic string to the ball(spelling???) and causes itbounce back and forth striking the trampoline and back into the Omegaman's family jewels, repeatedly, over and over
Luminere says : btw that (spelling??) was misplaced... i know how to spell ball :)
OmegaMan dodges the next strike of the ball and braces it back with his staff. The tension on the elastic, however, increases many fold. OmegaMan secures the ball in place and taps the cord, polymorphing it into one which would increase the force exponentially. Trampoline-form Luminere is pulled off of his base and bounces agains the spiked ball repeatedly, harder each time.
Jaxom raises his staff into the air, and as it goes higher, it transforms into a checkered flag.
Luminere yells as he comes towards the ball once again, however when he hits this time he splatters like an explosion of mecury, the liquid then reforms around omegaman and into a transparent jell,you can see his mouth in a wide arc of terror as the jell forces its way into his unbreathing mouth then the jell square around omegaman and now inside of him starts to harden quickly, like cement on a sunny and windy day, finally omegaman is surrounded and filled with a cold hard concrete
OmegaMan begins to fade as the jell collapses inward. OmegaMan completely disappears from within the jell, followed by as soft *whumpf* as the jell implodes in upon itself. OmegaMan rematerializes just outside the formerly jell filled area and bows gracefully.
Jaxom drops the flag and starts waving it frantically
OmegaMan says [to luminere] : nice job...
You say : IF you please, everybody vote on who you think did the best job. keep in mind creativity, functionality, and also which spells were better in the situation
Luminere says [to omegaman] : you too. either way i think this has been good for the MiF
