Song: The Matrix - Navras
I wish I knew some cool proverb things I could use right now. They'd really help me to get a point across. I'll just say it as it is then-- I really dislike my life. I don't do anything which is my fault but I make no effort to do anything about it. After reading Danny's website it made me ask myself the same sort of questions, only not with as high as scores or goals. I'm kind of a failure too. I got my US History essay back today, and I was happy with the D I got. It's my fault I got the D, I didn't read the book, something I really regret. Then I messed up on the layout of the PCB board in Engineering, making the whole design fail. After that (I'll probably get made fun of for this) I played Halo with the floor in a team tournament. Even though I know I'm not very good I still participated and the team ended up losing 23-50. Later started winning in Smash Bros, all the while being made fun of my LChris and Moser by things that I say, and who knows what all else behind my back. I'm not one to get angry or lose my temper but I was about to. I try to always compromise on everything, but I guess people don't appreciate that. I help people when the need help, I try and respect what they ask, but I do get the same back to me? No. And just because you are "sorry" that doesn't make it right. I can say I'm sorry for sending the Aicha video to everyone I know, but that wouldn't change anything would it? I can tell everyone I know about all the things you've told me and say I'm sorry, but that wouldn't change anything would it? But here I am glaring at you everytime you say say "and that's ok" and all you do is laugh about it, and keep saying it at every chance you get. So please, just STFU. (I'll bet you thought about laughing after that didn't you?) That being said... I need new people to hang out with...

Arsonists don't love fire as much one would think, they are just getting high on life. Good 'ol Trey T.

Song: Rammstein - Du Hast
This weekend was kinda fun, kinda not. I left a little later than I had hoped, but with good reason. After my last class I stopped and played some Shuffleboard with a guy in class, it was fun. Then I came to my room and played some of a game demo-- Rome: Total War. Then I realized I had to take apart my chair to be able to get it home so I could return it. The drive back was uneventful, but I got to listen to Ayreon - The Human Equation. Then I went to Homecoming.
Hung out with people, hung out with the band, back to the first group, watched the band march, talked with band friends, the nmy parents, then band again, then I left; wasn't that eventful?
Went to Penni's Saturday. Nothing too exciting, but still fun.
All in all he weekend was pretty fun. Oh yeah, Staples wouldn't take my chair back, I have to call the manufacturer.

Song: Peter Paul and Mary
Just for fun:
Puff, the magic dragon, lived by the sea
And frolicked in the autumn mist in a land called Honalee.
Little Jackie Paper loved that rascal Puff
And brought him strings and sealing wax and other fancy stuff, oh
Puff, the magic dragon, lived by the sea
And frolicked in the autumn mist in a land called Honalee.
Puff, the magic dragon, lived by the sea
And frolicked in the autumn mist in a land called Honalee.
Together they would travel on boat with billowed sail
Jackie kept a lookout perched on Puff's gigantic tail
Noble kings and princes would bow whene'er they came
Pirate ships would lower their flags when Puff roared out his name, oh
CHORUS
A dragon lives forever, but not so little boys
Painted wings and giants's rings make way for other toys.
One grey night it happened, Jackie Paper came no more
And Puff that mighty dragon, he ceased his fearless roar.
His head was bent in sorrow, green scales fell like rain
Puff no longer went to play along the cherry lane.
Without his lifelong friend, Puff could not be brave
So, Puff that mighty dragon sadly slipped into his cave, oh
CHORUS
EDIT: fon=fun.

Song: Yes - The Gates of Delirium
I'm so happy today is Friday. I can't wait to sleep in past 8:30. It'll be nice to be in my old room again, just too bad my mom decided to rearrange everthing, thus making it much smaller. I've also got new CDs to listen to on the drive, always a good thing. Also, seeing band people is always fun.
EDIT: Winamp List has been updated too.

Short and sweet update tonight. First of all, NEVER procrastinate reading and writing essays as much I have been. And please go to here and laugh all you want at the video. It's really cool. (I did the video editing).

Song: Led Zeppelin - Fool in t he Rain
I'm so screwed right now you wouldn't believe it. I got 4 hours of sleep last night. I have 2 more pages of my essay to write that is due in an hour and a half. I merely skimmed the book because I didn't have time to read it. The questions are nearly impossible for me to answer. All this is my fault so I shouldn't be complaining. All this because I don't like reading. I feel like I should just go curl up in a ball and stay there for the rest of the day or longer.
9/19/04, 9:10PM
Song: Metallica - Master of Puppets
A quick update. I finished reading The Iliad a few hours ago and have been going through it again to find support for my essay. I did that as I did laundry for the second time ever, it was much easier this time. I would also like to note that it's funny when people first transfer over to Trillian for IMing. All their profiles say "My Profile." So if you see someone that has that in their info/profile they are on Trillian and most likely pretty new to it. Ok time to write an essay and start reading The Minute Men and Their World.

Song: Paul McCartney and Wings - Goodnight Tonight
Funky dream time:
I go to class or something around town, and there is a van parked by a building. Down a little ways I see Spenser and down another path I see Mike. Suddenly I hear a girl start screaming "rape" and similar things. I just ignore it, then she starts screaming, "help me Tyler, Spenser, Mike, someone help me." That really freaked me out, so I went to go help her. I get in the van, and it turns out nothing was really happening, and I go with the girl, her mother, and her father out to eat at some resturaunt/bar type thing. Once we stop there, everyone gets out, goes inside, sits down, but I don't see the girl anywere. After everyone is done eating we go back to their house. I go inside to find that it has the same layout as my house in B'ville, I have a room, all my stuff is in there. Somehow I get to talking to Rachel Daniel (I think) and she's telling me that it is a common kidnapping ploy and I should get out of there.
Which was something I was thinking, but she assured it. I wait around a while, before I try to sneak out, it's about 11 now. I peek out the door to see the mom is still awake in bed starting to get up, so I just shut the door for now, organize stuff on the ground in a scattered fashion, get in bed underneth the covers, and get there just in time. She comes in to say goodnight and leaves shortly. I get out of bed, look in the closet for a box to take everything I need, and I find a huge box, that for some reason I can carry myself. I start packing a few things but I keep noticing the door keeps opening. So I go over, tape it shut, and continue packing.
That's when I wake up. The End.

Song: Silent Hill 4 - The Room
I ate off campus, for the first time since I've been here at OSU, at Quizno's. It was a very nice change, their sandwiches are really good, it's just too bad you can't customize them as much as you can at Subway.
Moser also decided he was going to try the Diary Challenge, drinking a gallon of milk in an hour. He was all for it, several people said it could not be done, but he was convinced he was different. He failed, and it was on tape, not the throwing up part, I don't want to see that. He had about 2-3 nice full glasses left before he could finish. Then after seeing Moser fail, Chris decided that he wanted to try it, though only half a gallon in 40 minutes, he didn't get very far before just giving up. Only about a glass' worth down. Good thing, though, was he didn't puke it up.
After failing the Dairy Challenge we played some Lord of the Rings version of Risk, I was against it at first since I've got a huge load of homework to get done, but I joined after a very little amount of convincing. We played for about 30-60 mins people were willing to give up and announcing me as the winner. I was actually doing pretty good too.
And now I'm on break from reading, I've got about 50 pages down so far. I could really feel my eyes hurting already. It's time to get back to that now.

Song: Dream Theater - Solitary Shell
I'm screwed this week as far as homework goes.
To-Do- Read 200 pages in The Iliad.
- Read all 191 pages of The Minute Men and Their World.
- Study for Calc 2 since I got 1 out of 3 questions right on the last quiz.
- Do last week's Physics Lab.
- Do this week's Physics Lab.
- Do next week's Physics Prelab.
- Do the Physics homework assignment due Friday.
- Write a 3-4 page essay due Monday.
- Write a 5 page essa due Tuesday.
- Do my UNIX lab.
- Sleep.
Sounds like fun, huh?
9/14/04, 10:20PM
Song: Led Zeppelin - Carouselambra
The beginning: slept till 9, class starts at 9.
The middle: went to Hastings to look for Blackfield, they didn't have it.
The end: bid-n-buy (if you know what I mean).
I'm really starting to stress out on my reading and essay assignments, me not reading any is only hurting. I got bored earlier and wanted to try something new. I made this Xanga page that is a single page that loads up the link I have posted on the right in a single, if you click it you'll see what I mean.
9/13/04, 11:00PM
Song: Simon and Garfunkel - Mrs. Robinson
I found a new fun link if you would like to entertain yourself for a while. It's pretty much the game 20 Questions, except it's done by a computer here is the link. At least try it once and there is no need to fill out the demographic stuff if you don't want to.
So the Iliad is still boring as ever and throwing cards is as fun as ever. Physics lab today sucked, the TA didn't know what he was doing (he couldn't even say "Aristotle," but I try not to judge). We also had a calc quiz, 3 questions.
Blah, I'm done here.
9/13/04, 8:00PM
Song: Valkkyrie Profile - Take a Flight
Iliad, I've spelled it wrong every single time and no one said anything.
9/13/04, 12:00AM
Song: Strabs - Autumn
The weekend was overall pretty boring. Showed Jenny and a few of her friends around the campus a little bit. Played more Pikmin 2, and beat it so I'll now have more time to read. Still on Bloody Mary, but I only tried a few more times. Read 3 more chapters in the Illiad, to catch up to tomorrow's assinment I should read 3 more-- I'm not going to right now, though. I really should stop putting reading off, I've got 2 essays due next week.
I think I need a better word variety in my entries.
Three people have gotten new screen names this weekend too.
I downloaded GIMP, it's pretty cool, and of course confusing.
I/We really need to vacuum.
I need to get to sleep.
9/11/04, 2:45AM; The Date Says It All
Song: Chroma Key - America the Video
Went polling a little tonight, nothing all that exciting. Also watched Taking Lives and Memento. Both alright, Memento was very different but I liked it. Once it was over I was still very confused. Played some more Terranigma, now I'm stuck (gave up for the night) on probabaly the hardest boss in the game, Bloddy Mary.
Pay attention when you ask a question.
Don't expect more than should.
Drop it.
9/10/04, 6:00PM
Song: Blackfield - Hello
For people to take me seriously do I have to cuss? It sure seems like I would have to sometimes, oh well, I have my standards that I live by.
9/10/04, 12:20AM
Song: Porcupine Tree - Every House is Wired
Hello World
Two classes today and a group project for intro to engineering. Classes were for the most part boring but the project was kinda fun. Suprisingly we got our circuit board working on the very first try. I don't mean just the light lighting up, but everything, the potentiometer, the phototransisters, and ...umm I guess that's about it-- but we did it on the first try. After that stopped by the GOSU (Gamers of OSU) table in front of the library. They seem pretty cool, there is a LAN in the union the 18th, I may have to go to that.
Pikmin 2 is really addictive, actually really fun and entertaining. I've almost got 50% of the debt covered.
I really want to hear the Blackfeild CD coming out Tuesday. The arrangements are absolutely astonishing. The production is picture perfect. The songwriting is simply superb. The melodies demonstrate marvelous musicianship. The harmonies are hardly anything less than heavenly. The lyrics tell a story that is challenging to comprehend while being equally engrossing. What more can someone say? Blackfield is impressive. - Joshua Turner of Progressiveworld.net
The main members of the band are Aviv Greffen and Steven Wilson (of Porcupine Tree). If you want to hear samples or watch a music video go here. But when I order that I'm going to be getting several other things (Flower Kings - Adam and Eve, Ayreon - Human Equation, and Dream Theater - Images and Words DVD).
So yeah...
9/7/04, 11:25PM
Song: Donnie Darko - The Artifact & Living
I'm going for something a little different tonight. I'm going to type out a few of the songs my dad taught me way back when that have been stuck in my head for part of today. Keep in mind these are three separate songs/jingles.
Everybody's doin' it (doin' it)
Pickin' their nose and chewin' it (chewin' it)
Thinkin' it's candy but it's-not
Comet, it makes your teeth turn green
Comet, it tastes like gasoline
Comet, it makes you vomit, so get some Comet and vomit ...today
Three six nine the goose drank wine, the monkey chewed tobacco on the street car line
The line broke, the monkey got choked, and they all went to heaven on a little row boat.
Well that was fun. I'm getting close to be done with tonight's reading assingment; I'm not liking this whole reading and honors college thing. And I should have had a real dinner tonight.
9/4/04, 11:15PM; Jayme's Birthday
Song: Blur - Song 2
Today has been pretty boring, B'ville exactly the same but I expected it to be. Been watching some TV here at my dad's and saw a funny movie, but I forgot the name of it, I'll have to find that out sometime. Ok, just got bored and wanted to update... again.
9/4/04, 5:35PM
Song: Transatlantic - My New World
I forgot to mention last night that I realized I left my alarm clock on at OSU. I feel pretty bad about it too.But surely the RA can get a temp for a reason such as this.
9/3/04, 11:10PM
Song: Dream Theater - Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence
This morning when I woke up I had a line from a song stuck in my head, a song I hadn't heard in a while; All of the Above. The line was "Don't waste your time sitting on the phone," I wrote it down, and went back to sleep. That line and the ones following it are among my favorites. I just thought that was worth mentioning.
Other events of the day included going from Wentz to Morril in 10 minutes, only to find the class wasn't in that room, but at the Nobel Research Center. Drove home to B'ville today. Nothing exciting during the drive or once I got home. Watched some Daily Show which was funny.
I need to talk a few people just about random things. That's about it I suppose, I'm going to my dad's tomorrow (Saturday).
9/2/04, 10:55PM
Song: Final Fantasy - Au Palies De Verre
The other day it hit me, I've been doing something I said I wouldn't and would be stupid to do. But circumstances have changed a little, but I'm going to slowly go back to my old was of thinking. [Am I vauge enough?] I'm talking about having an away message up all the time, as in when I go to classes. Yes, it is nice for people to know where I am, and it's not a hassle to put up at all, but there isn't really a point to it. Last year I was talking to Mary about it, and she shared the same thoughts on it. So far this year though I have been putting up the standard message for classes, but never get any messages. So why not just turn my computer off? Which is the point I'm trying to make, personally I'm all for turning off the computer when it's not being use, or won't be used for an extended period of time. So fron now on, you won't be seeing me online with my class away message up. If you need to drop a message there is always e-mail and cell phones; because, really, who doesn't know someone that they can borrow a cell phone from for a quick call?
Hah, I think that ice cream guy thought we were going out, that's what assuming does.
