Song: Franz Ferdinand - The Dark of the Matinee

Last night around 1 the two Chrises, I, and later Moser started haveing kinda odd conversations. We'd bring up topics and see what people thought about them. Things such as legalization of currently illegal drugs, capitol punishment, a 6-year old killing a girl accidentally with a gun, underage consumption of alcohol, abortion, and even if cows are meant to be eaten. It was fun.

I got my linear algebra test back today, I got a 99/100. I forgot to carry a negative from the incorrectly formatted answer to the correctly formatted one, bah to that. I also had a Java test, it was hard. I really don't know how I did on it (guessing B-C). Tomorrow I have a test in C, more programming yay.

Song: Zero 7 - People Make The World Go Round

You know how they say, "It's the small things in life that really matter?" Well, I find it true for good and bad things. It is rather nice to get a little letter in the mail, someone saying happy birthday, and all the other little things that are rather nonchalant. I've realized that I also get most irritated by small things over bigger ones. Sure if someone destroyed my computer (a big deal) I would be frustrated but the person that did would know they did something wrong. Whereas small things they don't really notice and take for granted. I view it as kind of a pet peeve. It may really bother you, but when asked what's wrong you say "nothing" or someone asks if it is annoying you reply with a "no," that sort of thing is what eats away at me. Example, someone cooked spagetti-o type food in the microwave the other and didn't cover it. Now there are a lot of little red spots all inside it. See not a big deal, but I'm not one that will willingly clean up another's mess, even if they don't know they made it. I don't think he meant to splatter sause all over, it just happened (and you'd guess right in thinking I haven't said anything). It truely is the little things in life.

Always good for a laugh.

Song: The Zombies - Time of the Season

So tonight I went to a concert at the community center, it was pretty cool. The first band was better than the second. It was fun to go out and just hang out. Crap, there was something else to say, but Jennifer and Liz came over and I've forgotten.

Song: Transatlantic - All of the Above

I am extremely bored at the moment. I don't feel like doing anything, even this; but it gives me something to do. I need to write about something wtih depth, but I can't think of any. My entries have been lacking recently. I think about to break-down, must be that time. Nothing that drastic is going on, just tests which I don't feel really phase me. Maybe I just need to open up to someone (which won't happen I'm too self-conscious). Classes are all going well. No real rooming problems, I guess I'm just down. Done, for a while probably.

Edit: I hate me. No, I'm not looking for pity, if I was I wouldn't post it here where I get maybe 3 hits a day, I'm just expressing myself.

9/19/05, 11:40PM; International Talk Like a Pirate Day
Song: Ben Folds Five - Steven's Last Night in Town

Ahoy. I be writing this before midnight so I can talk like a pirate, arrrrrrr. Why? Mostly because I can and it's talk like a pirate day. I didn't talk quite as much as a pirate as I would have liked, but that's ok. I did say lass, aye, scally wag, and several others. It was pretty fun.

I also woke up from a very weird dream this morning. It had $.50 rides (like the ones in front of Wal-Mart and K-Mart), the song YMCA, and an awkward moment that caused me to wake up.

Walking to classes earlier I realized something about myself, it was umm... eye-opening. Avast ye!

Song: Yes - Starship Trooper

I visited TU Friday evening and stayed the night. I had a good time. Brian and I stayed up till about 3 playing Bubble Bobble. It was awesome. We beat it, all, completely. We played through levels 01 to 99, then got the bonus stages, A0 to B2, beat the boss that takes 60 hits. This opens up Super Bubble Bobble. The stages become a bit harder and are totally different colors. Again, through all the stages, the secret ones, and the boss who has 80 hit points this time around. Granted the game gives you infinite continues, it was still really fun. After getting back to Stillwater around 5 I tossed around a football with Moser and Spenser and later watched Identity. And now I just got done beating Pikmin. The last boss whooped up on my for a while he took down a few hundred of my little plant friends. I'm sleepy now.

Song: Ayreon - No Quarter (Led Zeppelin Cover)

I bring news of a great computer program. The possibilities of this program are nearly endless. It is called Hamachi (download from here). In short the program creates a LAN connection over the internet. This allows for people to play LAN-based computer games against each other, file sharing, and even iTunes music can be browsed. The program itself is small, the memory footprint is small, the GUI is small, all while its abilites are endless. One of Payam's friends has set up a "permantent" server. If you want to join it (it's the one I use) the name is "Darksux" and the password is "dark" case DOES matter. Hope to see you on it.

Song: Radiohead - Blackstar

So far this weekend has been pretty fun for me. Last night Spenser came over to deliver my laptop. It's awesome. I messed with it all night and most of today. I can't wait to take it to classes, the library, home, LANs, etc. Also watched I, Robot earlier. It was pretty good, nothing all that spectacular but I don't regret watching it. Then I was messing with this program, Hamachi that, pretty much, allows LAN over internet. That coupled with NetMeeting is a lot of fun. I think I'm going to go not be on my computer for a while, bye.

Song: Pink Floyd - Shine On You Crazy Diamond (6-9)

Today has been a rather crappy day. First off I couldn't sleep last night so I didn't get much sleep (and today is an "early" day). And my new hard drive wasn't working since last night so I spent a good deal of time trying to fix it. Once I eventually did my sound card didn't work. As it turns out one of my PCI slots is busted, which sucks. Then when I went to fix Beka's computer the only option she had was to format and completely start over, I hate having to do that. Then of course homework. It's just one of those days. I should be getting my laptop this weekend, yay!

Song: Peter Gabriel - Growing Up

The top things I miss about high school:
That's all for now, I'll try to think of others later.

Song: Kings of Leon - Milk

Well, 7 days works for me. Stuff that has been going on:
That's about it. I don't have anything in mind to talk about at the moment, and it's getting sorta late.
