Enables the Houri/Gigolo to ascertain whether any individuals or creatures within the spell's area of effect are under the influence of any kind of charm spell, including charm person, devotion, geas, quest, suggestion, etc.

Devotion (Enchantment/Charm)

This affects a single individual who will become devoted to the Houri/Gigolo and will be unable to do anything except follow wherever the Houri/Gigolo goes. If the devotee is obstructed from being with the Houri/Gigolo they will try to beat off any opponents, including their own comrades, in a berserk fury, in order to continue being with the Houri/Gigolo. The devotion is broken if the Houri/Gigolo attacks or harms the devotee or a successful dispel magic is cast.

Impotence (Alteration)

The victim of this spell becomes impotent for a number of days equal to the Houri/Gigolo's level. During this period they suffer a penalty of -2 to all attack rolls and saving throws. Wisdom, Constitution and Charisma scores are lowered by 1d3 points each for the spell's duration, and the character will feel downright miserable. The impotence is broken if a successful dispel magic or remove curse is cast.

Kiss Of Healing (Necromancy)

As per the 1st level priest spell cure light wounds. Note this spell cannot be reversed - the kiss of wounding is the reverse of the kiss of healing.

Kiss Of Sleeping (Enchantment/Charm)

The victim of this spell falls into a deep sleep for 1d8 hours plus 1 hour per level of the Houri/Gigolo. They cannot be awakened by normal means such as shaking, slapping, etc. The slumber is broken if a successful dispel charm, remove curse or kiss of waking is cast.

Kiss Of Waking (Enchantment/Charm)

This spell will awaken one person under the effects of any form of magical or non-magical sleep.

Love Bite (Evocation)

This spell allows the Houri/Gigolo to attack distant targets using a magical love bite. The damage taken by the victim is 1d4 hit points. For every two extra levels of experience the Houri/Gigolo gains an additional love bite, i.e. 2 at 3rd level, 3 at 5th level, 4 at 7th level, to a maximum of 5 at 9th level. This spell does not affect undead.

Night Sight (Alteration)

Silver Tongue (Enchantment/Charm)

This spell enables the Houri/Gigolo to lie so convincingly that anyone within earshot of normal speech will believe anything they say, unless of course their senses tell them otherwise. They will not, for example, believe the Houri/Gigolo if told that a monster is attacking them, unless they can see it. If the wearer of a ring of truth is listening to the Houri/Gigolo then the words of the lie are not heard, thus indirectly revealing the lie to the ring user.

Ventriloquism (Illusion/Phantasm)

Houri/Gigolo 2nd Level

Charm Normal Animals (Enchantment/Charm)

This affects any normal animals, e.g. wolves, bats, lions, elephants, etc. but not giant animals or monsters. It will affect 6d6 insects, 1d8 small animals (bats, rats, small birds), 1d4 medium sized animals (dogs, lions, leopards), or one single large animal such as a rhino or elephant. The duration of the spell is a function of the charmed animal's Intelligence and a saving throw is made to break the enchantment as per the charm person spell. The charmed animals will remain loyal to the Houri/Gigolo and assist and protect them to the best of their abilities. This spell does not empower the caster with the ability to communicate with the charmed creatures. The charm is broken if the Houri/Gigolo attacks or harms the animals or a successful dispel magic is cast.

Communicate (Alteration)

This spell enables the Houri/Gigolo to communicate with any intelligent non-magical animal or creature in it's own language.

Dispel Charm (Abjuration)

This spell removes any kind of charm including charm person, devotion, geas, quest, suggestion, etc. The target must make a saving throw to resist the dispelling as they are 'bound' by the charm and cannot willing choose to have it removed.

Fascination (Enchantment/Charm)

This spell affects 1d8 hit dice of people as defined by the 1st level wizard spell charm person. The lowest levels are affected first, then the next lowest, and so on. Victims fully affected stop and stare at the Houri/Gigolo, completely entranced and offering no resistance to anything done to them. Partially affected characters are affected in a similar manner, but are allowed a saving throw vs. spells to resist the effect. The charm is broken if the Houri/Gigolo attacks or harms the victims, moves out of sight of the fascinated people or a successful dispel magic is cast. Example. Lirona, using this spell on 3 first level and 1 third level character rolls a 5 on a 1d8 and so can affect 5 hit dice of people. The first level characters are affected immediately, but the third level character is only partially affected and is thus allowed to a saving throw vs. spells. Lirona is then free to perform any action such as escape the characters, rob them, etc.

Jealousy (Enchantment/Charm)

This spell affects 1d6 persons as defined by the 1st level wizard spell charm person, causing them to become jealous of each other to the extent that they will ignore the Houri/Gigolo or any other source of danger present and quarrel amongst themselves. There is a 20% chance of such an argument leading to blows, and if it does, there is another 20% chance of the fight being to the death. Note if the fight is not to the death then the combatants will come out of the spell when they suffer damage equal to 25% of their remaining hit points.

Kiss Of Strength (Alteration)

Kiss Of Weakness (Alteration)

This spell drains the victim of 2d4 points of Strength for 1 day. After receiving such a kiss, the victim will be completely helpless for 1d6 turns. The drained strength returns after the 24 hour period at a rate of 1 point per day. The kiss' effect is reduced if a successful remove curse is cast and the rate of strength return increases to 1 point per hour.

Kiss Of Wounding (Necromancy)

This spell is the reverse of the kiss of healing.

Transfer Charm (Enchantment/Charm)

This spell transfers control of a charmed individual to another person, i.e. if the Houri/Gigolo encounters someone who has been charmed by another magic-user, they can use this spell to transfer control over that person from the original caster to either themself or even someone else. The duration remains as per the original charm spell used.

Houri/Gigolo 3rd Level

Bodyguards (Enchantment/Charm)

This affects all characters and creatures of 1-3 hit dice within a 30 foot radius of the Houri/Gigolo. Any of these who fail to a saving throw vs. spells will immediately disregard their previous purpose or allegiances, and leap to the Houri's/Gigolo's side to form a protective ring around them, defending against all assailants and even their own comrades. Note however, that they are not actually charmed and the Houri/Gigolo has no influence over the bodyguards. After they have successfully protected the Houri/Gigolo from immediate danger and the spell ends the bodyguards are stunned for 1d4+1 rounds.

Charm Giant Animal (Enchantment/Charm)

This spells affects any giant animals of any kind, including enchanted types such as phase spiders. Such enchanted giant animals get a saving throw vs. spells at +3. Other effects are as per the charm normal animals spell.

Disguise (Illusion/Phantasm)

Similar to the 4th level wizard spell polymorph self, this spell allows the caster to apparently alter their form, although this is only illusion and no actual physical change occurs. Any creatures failing a saving throw vs. spells believes that the Houri/Gigolo is of their own species and of the form desirable to them, thus enabling the Houri/Gigolo to seduce any susceptible creature believing the disguise.

Hold Person (Enchantment/Charm)

Kiss Of Slavery (Enchantment/Charm)

This spell is almost the same as the 1st level wizard spell charm person, except that the victim will obey any of the caster's orders unquestionly and will not stop until the task has been completed. This can work against the caster as even an order given in jest must be fulfilled. A given order cannot be countermanded. The charm is not broken even if the Houri/Gigolo attacks or harms the victim. The charm can be removed if a successful dispel charm or remove curse is cast.

Love (Enchantment/Charm)

This spell requires some intimate item belonging to the intended victim for it to work, such as a lock of hair, nail clippings, locket or the like. The spell is chanted over the item and it will cause the character to whom it belongs to fall in love. The Houri/Gigolo can choose whether this person is the next appropriate person the victim sees, or a compatible but specific person of the Houri's/Gigolo's choice, or even the Houri/Gigolo themself if they are attractive to the target. The duration is as per the 1st level wizard spell charm person. The effect of this spell cannot be removed only broken as per the conditions on the charm person spell.

Resist Charm (Enchantment/Charm)

This spell surrounds the Houri/Gigolo with a protective aura which makes them immune to any kind of charm or hold spell including charm person, hold person, geas, quest, suggestion and also bardic charm.

Houri/Gigolo 4th Level

Boudoir (Alteration/Illusion)

As per the 3rd level wizard spell Leomund's Tiny Hut. However, this spell enhances upon the wizard spell as follows: The exterior and interior of the hut appear as an extravagent pavilion with the finest silken drapes, cushions, etc. A table of refreshments with fine wines, fruits and sweetmeats is created. These are real and satisfy any thirst or hunger. Whilst within the boudoir, the Houri/Gigolo's Charisma score is increased by 1 and additional spells may be gained as appropriate. Should they leave, their Charisma returns to normal and any additional spells gained due to increased Charisma are lost.

Charm Monster (Enchantment/Charm)

Confusion (Enchantment/Charm)

Cure Unrequited Love (Enchantment/Charm)

This spell is a combination of the charm person and love spells and can make a person who does not find the Houri/Gigolo attractive fall in love with them regardless of sex or sexual orientation. The duration is as per the charm person spell. The effect of this spell cannot be removed, only broken as per the conditions on the charm person spell. Note that any victim of this spell then becomes susceptible to other Houri/Gigolo spells based on attraction.

Hate (Enchantment/Charm)

This spell is the reverse of the love spell. The victim will want to either attack the object of their hatred or plot to kill him/her, and if successful they will then revert to normal. The duration is as per the charm person spell. Unlike the love spell the effect can be removed if a successful dispel charm or remove curse is cast.

Kiss Of Paralysis (Enchantment/Charm)

This spell paralyses the victim for a number of days equal to the caster's level. A victim will be subject to the normal rules for thirst and starvation if not rescued from this situation. The charm can be removed if a successful dispel charm or remove curse is cast.

Love Sickness (Enchantment/Charm)

This spell affects a single victim, who must find the Houri/Gigolo desirable. It makes it's victim become so much in love with the Houri/Gigolo that if they lose sight of the Houri/Gigolo they fall into a terrible depression, refusing to eat, turning to drink and becoming a general wreck. Any attack rolls and saving throws are made at a penalty of -7. As a result the victim will die of starvation in a number of days equal to their Constitution plus 4, and there is a 5% chance of them committing suicide each day. Further, if the Houri/Gigolo tells them to go away, they are compelled to do so. This unpleasant condition will wear off as a charm person effect, but otherwise must be removed by a successful dispel charm or remove curse spell.

Resist Charm 10ft Radius (Enchantment/Charm)

This spell surrounds the Houri/Gigolo with a protective aura, extending to 10 foot in all directions, which makes them and any other within the area of effect immune to any kind of charm or hold spell including charm person, hold person, geas, quest, suggestion and also bardic charm.

Houri/Gigolo 5th Level

Change Sex (Alteration)

With this spell a Houri/Gigolo can alter the sex of any creature. This is such a traumatic change that, unless the victim has submitted to the change voluntarily, he/she/it will be automatically confused for 1d10 turns, and also there is a 5% chance that it will cause permanent insanity. The Houri/Gigolo can use this spell to change their own sex with no ill effect. The duration is permanent unless a successful dispel magic or another change sex is cast.

Hold Monster (Enchantment/Charm)

Kiss Of Change (Alteration)

This spell affects it's victim as the 4th level wizard spell polymorph other except that it's effect is not permanent. As with other kiss spells there is no immediate saving throw, but the victim may be able to break free of the spell's effect after a period of time, depending upon their Constitution. Checks are made using the following table, and if the character makes a successful saving throw vs. spells they revert back to their normal form.

Kiss Of Death (Necromancy)

This is the only Houri/Gigolo kiss spell for which a saving throw is permitted. The result of not making the saving throw is obvious - instant death. Victims successfully making a saving throw vs. spells lose half their remaining hit points.

Kiss Of Disfigurement (Alteration)

This spell reduces the Charisma of the victim to zero. They grow horns, an extra nose, become covered in warts, develop a vile body stench which makes a skunk's odour seem like a sweet purfume, gain an impossible speech impediment, etc. and are rendered generally repulsive. As a result the victim becomes shunned by humanity. Anyone who they try to approach will instantly attack or flee, including friends and relatives. Small children will follow them about throwing stones, pigs will cross the street to avoid them, etc. ad nauseum. The duration of the spell is permanent unless broken by a successful remove curse spell.

Stop! (Alteration)

In casting this spell the Houri/Gigolo performs some action, such as suddenly removing all their clothes, which causes all activity by living beings within a 40 foot radius sphere of them to cease immediately for 1d4 rounds. Note however, this spell is not equivalent to the 9th level wizard spell time stop, for only living things are affected and any creature touched, attacked, etc. whilst the spell is in operation immediately breaks free from it's effect. There is no saving throw against this spell and protection devices do not work against it.

Houri/Gigolo 6th Level

Blown Kiss (Evocation)

This spell enables the Houri/Gigolo to use any kiss spell at a distance without the normal physical contact required. It must be used in conjunction with another kiss spell and the duration and saving throw are as per the kiss spell blown.

Eternal Youth (Alteration)

This spell functions exactly as per the potion of longevity and uses of this spell and the potion both count toward the 1% cumulative chance of the effect being reversed.

Geas (Enchantment/Charm)

As per the 6th level wizard spell.

Heartbreaker (Evocation)

This spell induces a sudden heart attack in it's target. Victims of the heart attack permanently lose 1 point of Strength, 1 point of Constitution and take 2d8 points of damage. In addition the victim is unable to perform any strenuous physical action, e.g. combat and moves at half speed for 1d4 days. If the victim makes a saving throw vs. spells the heart attack is avoided but the target still takes 2d8 points of damage.

Kiss Of Life (Necromancy)

Houri/Gigolo 7th Level

Dance Of The Seven Veils (Conjuration/Summoning)

This spell creates seven layers of magical protection about the Houri/Gigolo and involves an intricate dance and seven veils each in a colour of the rainbow - red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet. Effects are as per the 8th level wizard spell prismatic wall. As the wall's layers are negated the appropriate veil is consumed by the magic. The veils are also consumed once the spell has expired.

Kiss Of Regression (Alteration)

This spell regresses the target to their youth and they physically and mentally become a child aged 2d4 years. To all intents and purposes the target loses all experience, skills and memory. The duration of the spell is permanent unless broken by a successful remove curse spell cast by a 15th level or greater spellcaster.

Limited Wish (Conjuration/Summoning/Invocation/Evocation)

Mass Charm (Enchantment/Charm)

Magic Items

Manual of Advanced Lovemaking (8,000 XP). This valuable book will allow any Houri reading it to instantly gain one full level of experience and place them half way to the next experience level. However, anyone else reading it will permanently lose 1 point of Charisma, suffer 2d8 points of damage, and the effects of a kiss of weakness spell.

Cupid's Arrow (10,000 XP). This powerful item appears to be a finely made arrow with a golden heart shaped arrowhead. If it is fired from a bow, or thrown by hand for a Houri/Gigolo, it automatically hits it's target and the victim is smitten with a superior version of the Houri/Gigolo love spell with no saving throw allowed. The target will fall in love with the next desirable person they meet and due to the nature of the enchantment the love will be true love and as such it's effect will not be removable, except possibly by a wish if the DM allows. Additionally, in the hands of a Houri/Gigolo, the arrow empowers the user as follows: The Houri/Gigolo can learn an extra 1st, 2nd and 3rd level spell each day. The Houri/Gigolo gains a +2 to all saving throws vs. charm and hold related spells. The 3rd level Houri/Gigolo spell love can be cast once per day.

Lipstick of Irresistibility (1,000 XP). This gives the wearer a limited kiss of slavery ability, with the effects lasting as a double duration hold person spell. Each stick is good for 5 applications and each application lasts for 1d6 kisses.
