Jelly Bean & Marshmellow Peep
Jelly Bean is another made up fantasy of mine. This time, made for an Easter swap. She seemed 'spring-y' to me, and therefore Easter-y. lol She is a springtime friend, and guest of Strawberry Shortcake herself. Every year, her and her Peep come to Strawberryland for the Easter celebrations.
This used to be a Butter Cookie doll. *I rerooted her with pink hair, that I tied in a ponytail, and gave one big ol' kinda curl at the end. *I repainted her eyes to make 'em big and blue. *I made her a sort of dress, with buttons at the top (kinda like overalls looking) *She has a pair of the lace bottomed panties. *I gave her little booties with matching lace. *I made a matching bonnet, with a hole for her ponytail to stick out. *Then I handpainted little tiny pastel 'jelly beans' and hand stiched them onto the hat, and dress, and pet's hat. *I made the Peep out of pink Sculpey, and painted his little eyes, then coated him with a clear coat with glitter in it. *Made a matching bonnet with a ribbon tie. *I made a teeny little Easter basket for her out of old wicker then added grass, little tiny *sculpey eggs *sculpey jelly beans in a bag and *sculpey chocolate rabbit. *Then I tied a ribbon around it, and made a sculpey bunny face for the front. I think the basket was one of my favorite parts:)
