Final Fantasy ULTIMA

Final Fantasy ULTIMA is a StarCraft RPG, that I Snow~Knight made, or rather have been making. I'll break it up into sections and explain the gameplay of it.

SECTION I: Introduction to gameplay
SECTION II: List of Heroes
SECTION III: Battles
SECTION IV: Upgrading
SECTION V: Story
SECTION VI: Summons

SECTION I:

The gameplay in Final Fantasy ULTIMA (refered to as ff:U from now on)is based on more exploring then constant battling with enemies. Healing can only be done in certain locations and during battle. Puzzles or enemies must be compelted before going to the next part of the map. It is three player map were all players battle together. More one battles in SECTION III.

SECTION II:

The heroes in ff:U are:

KnightThe Knight uses cloak abilites to shield himeself. He is slow and moderately powerful. His sword can be upgraded for maximum damage later in the game.
MonkThe Monk harness spiritual and earthly energies to boost his HP, he starts out wiht a massive attack, but can only upgrade by putting on leather gloves, weakening his ability in the later game to inflict damage. He boasts incredible speed and agility too.
SorcererThe Sorcerer can be the weakest hero, or the strongest depending on how you play. He startrs out with a simple 'Heal" spell, but can learn new Summons as his EXP grows. He is slow, has a terrible physical attack and has low HP, but his ability to take himself out of the fight and put Summons in for him make him the ultimate end game power.
ArcherThe Archer has a weak to moderate attack, but boasts range and a speedy atatck. He has standard HP and agility, but Stim Packs increase all these. He has a good number of defensive upgrades too.
ThiefThe thief can cloak himself similiar to the Knight, but only for short periods of time. He carriers the longst range weapon in the game, the Sniper Rifle. He has lower HP then even the Archer, but fares extremely well against groups of small enemies. Greater range and the ability to dirupt mechanical units are a few of his upgrades.

SECTION III:

Battles are a bit mroe complex then in most RPG's in ff:U. First off, you aren't forced into them, yo ucan pick and choose what battles you fight. Obviously the more you fight the better your chances are to get all your characters upgrades. To "initiate" a battle you simply kill a Zergling on the world map named 'Battle!', which doesn't attack back. You then are wisked away to fight a turn-based battle. You have control of your unit(s) for awhile, then you msut let your opponents go. In your time you can attack, Summon creatures (as Sorcerer) or heal. For each successful battle won, you recieve EXP which can be sued to 'purchase' upgrades.

SECTION IV:

Upgrading is done via an upgrade center in an isolated part of the map. Each character ahs his own set of upgrades. The Sorcerer learns new Summons, the Knight upgrades his sword and armor, the Monk upgrades his attack once and gets agility and armor upgrades. The Archer has range, and speed firing upgrades and the Thief has upgraded sight, Lockdown and cloaking ability which can be upgraded. The Archer and Thief have some armor upgrades available to them also.

SECTION V:

The storyline is based upon a world in strife. An evil queen of terror, Setza has deemed the planets these 'Final Fantast Legends' call home. Her minions are spread throughout the land and it is filled with darkness. The Legends upon returning from a trip race to help survivors, only to find none. The towns have disappeared and the people all...dead is what they believe. They must make it past giagantic giants and puzzling puzzles to face Setza and restore peace.

SECTION VI:

The Summons in the game are:
