On April 2nd, 1999, my mom, dad, 2 brothers, aunt and uncle and I traveled to Europe. We flew in to the Charles De'Gaulle airport in Paris. With the expertise of my brother, Jay, our trip went very smoothly. We spent about 11 days in Europe, and had a taste of many different countries. We traveled on trains, and met lots of people on our way from country to country. We had planned to meet a friend of mine that was a foreign exchange student in Italy, but unfortunately, it didn't work out.
In my junior year in high school (1997-1998) our family hosted a foreign exchange student, Jan Goller, from Bonn Germany. During our trip, we spent 3 days with Jan and his family. They showed us much hospitality, and we had such a great time with them. They took us all around Bonn and Bad Godesberg, and Cologne. This was the highlight of our trip. It was great seeing Jan again!
