The Garden is a military school where boys and girls up to 19 go to learn military skills. Graduates of the Garden join various armies all over the world, but the true acheivement is to join SeeD. Members of SeeD do everything from guarding government property, to fighting riots. They all have high abilities, and each member is exceptionally skilled in a certain area of combat. Here you are also taught the difficult art of magic. This is probably why it is so hard to get into SeeD. Apparently, Squall Leonhart has something to do with SeeD. The popular opinion is the he was actually a member. Sounds like a little known character from a prequel.....

Storyline:

  I have heard numerous variations to this. The one i like best is that there is supposed to be two Phoenixes that represent light and dark. The whole story revolves around these two fighting.

  The other popular version is that Zell and Squall are assigned to guard a top secret government project which ends up being a time portal. The whole story involves them going back in time....

Squall and Siefer

  There was a duel with Squall and Siefer a while ago. The duel had two rules:

1. No Magic

2. You cannot pull the trigger on your Gunblade.

  Siefer broke the rules and when he had his blade against Squall's forehead, he pulled the trigger, causing Squall's scar.
