This is my animorphs page. Basically I'll tell you this. The plot of the books is that there is an alien invasion of earth. The alien species that is taking over earth is known as the yeerks. They are parasite, that look like grey slugs that crawl into your brain through your ear canal. They spread their soft bodies into every crevice of your brain, and take control of you. Someone who is infested by a yeerk is called a controller. When you are a controller you can't do anything for yourself. you are trapped inside your own brain. You can't do anything, the yeerk has total control of your body. The worst part is that your family and friends can't tell the difference. But, there is a resistance group, called the Animorphs. The animorphs are five kids: Jake, Rachel, Cassie, and Marco. Then there's Aximilli-Esgarouth-Isthill also known as Ax. He's an andalite, an advanced race that is fighting thr yeerks. Anyway, these five kids have been given the ability to morph by Elfangor, Ax's brother. Andalites developed the morphing technology. When Elfangor crashed and the andalite dome ship was destroyed, Elfangor gave the five kids the power to morph, so that Earth wouldn't be totally defenselless.
