The Epilogue!
-----A good while later, the Dread Pirate, Seth, Kazel and Dalyor enter the Boar’s Head Tavern. They see Sol speaking with two men dressed in armor and surcoats by the bar. Sol immediately turns and sees them as they come in.
-----Likewise, Sol gets a good look at the four people who accompany his three former companions and the greasy looking half elf. The tavern now seems a bit crowded with each table taken up by the patrons. The dim lighting of the place matches the low talking which diminishes slightly now. Some of the patrons turn to look at what is happening around the bar before they turn back to their own business. The barkeep looks somewhat nervous as he watches the meeting.
-----In typical grand style, the Dread Pirate steps forward, sighs and says tersely to the warrior, "What is it that ye want?"
-----Sol winces slightly at the pirate's tone before answering, "I assume we're still on th' same job. I was hoping we could exchange information. Th' rest of us were going to move out tomorrow to start on th' second part o' th' mission, an' I was wondering if ye'd be interested in coming...Or perhaps if ye needed help on anything more local...?"
-----The Gorian then flushes slightly as he rebukes his manners, "Should've done this first. Can I get any o' ye a drink?" This last question is offered to the whole group.
-----Seth nods at Sol and says, "I would like some ale, should we find a table first before talking more?" He looks around to see if he can find a table big enough for their small crowd.
-----Sol gestures towards the tables, all of which are very much full. He then places a copper coin on the counter, and indicates to the barkeep for some ale for Seth.
-----Kazel says to the barkeep, "Water." She simply sips at the mug, her other hand casually in her pocket as she observes Sol and his two men.
-----The Dread Pirate shrugs and replies, "Arrr, I don't have anythin against ye, Sol. Ye were most always reasonable. But yer two friends leave a lot to be desired. I don't approve of anyone killin bound prisoners that are under me care fer whatever reason they may have. And frankly, yer tactics were hamperin our ability to fight. Since we got rid of ye, we've managed to defeat those evil wizards, and clean out the temple o' Joren that ye left behind. So I think we've pretty much taken care of the local problems ourselves, thank ye very much. As fer travelin together again, look at how much we've accomplished without ye. I can't see much benefit to workin together. Maybe ye can convince me otherwise. I'm always amenable to reason."
-----The Dread Pirate sits back, content to listen to what Sol has to say.
-----Seth eyes the two chain mail wearing men and asks Sol, "Would you like to introduce your new friends?"
-----Sol nods to Seth and indicates a strong looking man with brown hair and a beard, "This is Romney..." He then nods to a close cut black-haired man with a scar that runs from his left eye to his chin, "...and this is Abram."
-----The look he gives Seth implies that he'd also like introductions to his new companions.
-----Sol then turns to regard the Dread Pirate and surprisingly a smile lights up his face. "It was you lot that cleared the Dark at th' Temple? Well done." He says enthusiastically before stopping to consider.
-----Sol's face turns thoughtful and he offers, "I honestly don't know what to say about the orcs. That was a...difficult choice. In the end they ended up trying to make a run for it. Anyway, look...we had problems settling in with each other, but excepting that blasted episode at th' keep that night, in which...yes, we should've stuck to a single battle plan...we've done a lot more that's worked and turned well when we were together."
-----Sol takes a sip from his own tankard of ale before continuing, "Well, before we discuss whether we can work together further, while we were apart, th' rest o' us finally caught up wi' th' Dark's High Priestess. We dealt wi' her and her followers so wi' any luck, with that and the temple o' Joren free, Oakwood should be free of any more Dark globes appearing."
-----The warrior clears his throat and takes another sip from his ale, "Where we're heading next is likely t'be more trouble than what we've encountered so far. I'm not sure if I want t'be discussing th' details in here, but it sounds...like it could be interesting. I believe we can work together again and do it well. It may take effort, but I know that both Raven and Sarah want to join up again. I'd also appreciate th' chance t'do so. Considering th' mistakes I made wi' you, I'd like th' chance t'make it up."
-----He looks pointedly at all three before waiting to hear replies.
-----Seth looks at Kazel and Dread, "Well we could meet somewhere else, less obtrusive..." he then indicates the other four that Sol has not met. He indicates a lean raggedy haired elf wearing dark colored leather. "This Is Marast."
