-----A heartbeat of decision-making passes before Sol yells out, "No holding back people! Sarah, keep th' troll off us. Raven, this sod is all yers." The Gorian indicates the now reeling armoured man and disengages himself from the fight. "Rinda, if th' mage shows his face at th' tower window again, shoot him. Th' rest o' ye, aid where ye can." Now away from Raven's fight, Sol jerks himself around to face the dragon. He hastily does his best to judge where the beast's descent will take it and rushes to meet it there, sword raised somewhat defiantly.
-----The dragon swoops through the air and lands at one end of the lawn. As it watches Sol racing toward it with Romney and Shema following him, it cranes its neck and emits a loud evil laugh. "Yes, fool!" it gleefully gloats at the charging Gorian, "Come now and meet thy doom!" It raises its head and flexes its sharp claws as it stands upright.
-----Raven slashes in again at the armored strong man. He cuts the evil one on the side of the thigh causing the opponent to grunt angrily.
-----Lovan stands in front of Sarah and draws forth his strange rod-like device. He intones a call to the Rager in a barbaric tone and points at the armored one.
-----Suddenly the troll descends upon him! Lovan hastily ducks the seeking claws of the large monster. Just as he turns, however, the troll delivers a vicious bite into the priest's shoulder. Lovan yells out in pain and anger.
-----Just then the gruesome form beneath the armor straightens before Raven. It lifts its huge flail upward and stretches forth its other arm. From beneath the hideous helmet, a rough inhuman voice roars. It builds until a single thunderous word is heard, "DOOM!" A darkness seems to radiate from the foul armor.
-----Raven's wolf emits a sharp yelp as if struck by something sudden. In the next moment, Raven and his wolf turn from the evil form and bolt toward the village buildings. Rinda, seeing her love retreat, scans the area as if looking for meaning in this chaos. Keeping her bow drawn and watching for movement on the tower, the huntress begins to run after Raven.
-----Lovan falls to the ground reeling from the attack by the mottled green creature. Curiously, the troll blinks its dark eyes and then its small pupils grow large. With a howl of fright, it runs from the scene toward the trees as if something dreadful were chasing it.
-----The sun priestess stands looking around her, mouth agape at the battle scene.
-----Figuring that Sol and Raven can easily stand foot to foot with the troll once they hunt it down, Sarah ignores the fleeing monster. She was terrified for a brief second that the monster with its astounding speed would have torn through Lovan and attacked her. As scared as she is, Sarah knows there is no time for defensive spells.
-----She shakes her left wrist and her crystal bracelet there jangles merrily as she performs an arcane dance, a new one this time. Her confident smile returns as three discs of ever changing rainbow patterns emerge in the air around her and begin to circle her body.
-----Gesturing the young sorceress sends two of the disks speeding towards the foe armored in darkness with a mere gesture of her fingers. The first disc streaks right for the target.
-----The second disc is right behind the first one, but right before it hits it splits up into seven discs, each a different color of the rainbow, which begin to spin rapidly around the warrior, creating a shimmering field of rainbow colors that surrounds the dark knight. He appears to have been blanketed with a rainbow.
-----Sarah grins as the remaining colored disc continues to spin around her. She sees Raven and his wolf fleeing and turns to see the dragon. "Bring it on." She mumbles, and grabs her father's wand from her belt.
-----"Desta." She declares proudly.
-----"Spread out an' stay defensive if it attacks ye." Sol says as he rushes towards the dragon. In response to the beast's challenge, Sol charges straight at it yelling furiously, "'Ware the Storm!"
-----The evil one inside the rainbow enchantment that Sarah cast suddenly begins to scream out as if in pain. Within the brilliant colors he looks as if he is casting off his armor.
-----Garrison takes his attention off the fleeing troll and turns to follow Sol and the two guards. As four people now charge the dragon, the red beast raises one sharp claw and points at its attackers. With a domineering look of confidence, it utters its own arcane language whereupon a single streak flashes from his outstretched claw.
-----In the next instant, the evil spell flies to a point just above the head of the Gorian. From there a devastating explosive burst of flame detonates catching Sol and Shema fully in the hellish inferno. Romney throwing himself to the ground at the last moment takes less of the blast but it still inflicts great damage upon him.
