WST-M Pack

Model: ZLS WST-M Weapons Expansion Pack
Cost: 12,000
Skill: Appropriate Weapons skills or WST-M Pack Operation
Special: See below
Weight: 100 kg

Description: The WST-M pack is another one of Zolar's attempts to make Ramses the ultimate fighting machine. The WST-M pack is essentially an weapons expansion kit to attach to an appropriate droid or otherwise mechanical being. Taking the form of a large backpack unit, the WST-M pack is centrally powered by a small, heavily shielded fusion generator. This provides the power for the weapons systems attached to it, as well as extra power for the droid in question.

The particular weapon systems that can be installed on the WST-M pack are varied, as it comes equipped with 4 weapon hard-points. To add weapons, one must roll either a Difficult Droid Repair roll (in D6) or a DC 20 Repair roll (in D20). A large weapon takes up two hard points. The weapons are retractable into a position flush with the unit; they then fold out to either over or under the droid's left or right arms. The variety of weapons one could put on is limited only by imagination; Ramses, the original droid to use this, was equipped with a light repeating blaster, a deck-sweeper, and a flamethrower on his WST-M pack.

There are weaknesses to such a unit. Only combat-oriented droids (themselves illegal) have the programming nessecary to utilize such a unit; the heavy and unbalancing weight of the unit requires a strong chassis; the fusion generator can become explosively dangerous should it be damaged. The unit is also rare, and would have stayed as unique to the Rameseum Crew had not Zolar sold the plans to the outlaw tech Spider, who in turn sold them to select parties.

The Ram-Tank

Model: No Formal Designation
Cost: Not for Sale
Skill: Repulsorlift Piloting: Ram-Tank
Scale: Speeder
Hull: 3D
Speed: 10 meters
Weapons: E-Web Blaster Cannon (8D)
Rocket Launchers (7D)

Description: When Ramses was damaged during the fight against Vigo Lonay, Zolar took it upon himself to get his friend back in the action. To this effect, he modified a small cargo skiff (just large enough for him) into a vehicle for Ramses. To enhance it, he added armored plating, an E-Web in the front, a generator, and two unguided rocket launchers on the sides. Even when Ramses regained his legs, he still used this miniature, personal tank for assault work.

Description: The lastest in Suprosa's line of miniature surveillance droids, the Hyperbug (as it is known) is a small, articulated droid resembling a spider. Its primary function is to be released on a ship, without anyone noticing. The Hyperbug will immediately seek a hiding spot on the ship, and begin to search for the location of the ship's communications and navigation systems. The Hyperbug will then tap into the navigation system and copy the data that is being sent to the Nav computer prior to a hyperspace jump. It will then access the communications systems while in transit, and when the ship arrives at its destination the hyperbug will hijack the comm systems. It will begin to broadcast a signal to local communication relays, which will route the data from the ship's hyperspace jump to the relay, back to a predetermined point. This allows the user to track ships routes in hyperspace almost completely undetected. The only way to detect the bug in use is to either see it in action, or to notice the hijacking of the comm systems (which requires a moderate Communications roll, and only if it is noticed beforehand). This insidious bug obviously has a variety of uses...
