Model: JM-42 "Dispo" Miniature Repeater Type: Energy Size: Small Ammo: 30 (non-replaceable pack) Cost: 400 Range Increment: 6 Critical: 20 Damage: 3D6 Special: Autofire and Multifire, reduced autofire penalties (-2/-4), gun rendered useless after clip is expended
Description:The Dispo is the Star Wars equivalent of an uzi. Blastech built several prototypes of this gun, but deemed it not worth manufacturing; however, the plans made it into the criminal underworld, and is now mass-produced at several Outer Rim locations. Packing a huge amount of firepower into the frame of a pistol, the Dispo is a favorite of terrorists and outlaws. A Dispo uses its ammo in a burst fire mode, providing a large spray of blaster bolts, at the expense of accuracy at range. However, this creates huge strain on the barrel and focusing crystal of the gun; a Dispo will usually melt under the strains of clip being emptied on full automatic. Thus, the Dispo does not have a replaceable blaster pack; they are built into the frame of the gun. It is from this fact whence comes its name; a user will dispose of the damaged and empty gun after use. Fortunately, its low cost and small size make it feasible to carry several Dispos, for longer combat situations.
Zolar's Note: A formidable weapon. You'll often see pirates or swoop gangs carrying a few of these; the sheer weight of firepower can often bring down even heavy armor. Just make sure you get the shots in, though; once you run out, you're a sitting duck, and you'll look pretty silly if you wasted your gun on suppression fire without an escape route.

Model: Zolarian Systems "Stiletto" Heavy Blaster Pistol Type: Energy Size: Small Ammo: 10 (custom power packs) Cost: 1,800 Range Increment: 8 Critical: 20 Damage: 3D8 Special: +2 to Bluff or Sleight of Hand checks to hide
Description: The Stiletto Carbine is Zolar's personal design for packing big punch in small packages. ZLS has managed to shrink down the standard heavy blaster pistol pack even smaller, down to the size of a relatively bulky hold-out. It packs the same punch as your average DL-44, but fits just about anywhere on your person. As icing on the cake, the Stiletto is coated with a mildly sensor-resistant coating, so it's harder to detect in scans.
Note that the shrinking process has produced some defects; notably its small ammo capacity and short range. In addition, on a "1" on the Wild Die a misfire occurs and the Stiletto "explodes," causing 2D (D6) or 1D4 (D20) damage to the wielder.
Zolar's Note: Just be careful. Just because you're carrying one of these doesn't mean your weapon is invisible; it only helps it to not be seen in a casual look-over. Don't be surprised when you're arrested after a dedicated search, because keeping this gun hidden relies on the searchers not really looking for weapons... and sometimes, they'll be looking.

Model: Zolarian Systems 8026 Blaster "Shotgun" Type: Modified Carbine Scale: Character Ammo: 4 (uses two full blaster packs) Cost: 3,000 Availability: 3, F, R or X Range: 3-10/15/30 Damage: 6D/4D/3D

Model: Zolarian Systems 8026 Blaster "Shotgun" Type: Energy Size: Medium Ammo: 6 (uses two full blaster packs) Cost: 3,000 Range Increment: 8 Critical: 20 Damage: 4D6/3D6/3D4 Special: Each range increment decreases damage by one level
Description: A new model from Blastech, copied by ZLS but not yet in mass production. The DL-88 (redubbed the 8026 by Zolar) is a new form of weapon, designed with personal defense and police forces in mind. It combines the mentality behind the DL-44 (heavy power power packed into a small package) with the power of a heavy blaster rifle and the size of a carbine, resulting in a massively powerful firearm with the drawbacks of a miniscule ammo capacity and unenviable range. The DL-88 achieves its effect by drawing off almost the entire blaster pack, totally draining it to give the blast maximum punch. To mitigate the obvious resulting ammo problems, the gun double-loads blaster packs, with a pump-action barrel that ejects the spent pack and puts the new one in place. The crystal is a special design to try and hold the beam together for as long as possible, but is quite inefficient due to the sheer power which must be contained. As it gets farther from its starting point, the beam diffuses and causes less total damage to its targets. This results in a horrificly limited range which renders the gun useless in anything but indoor or very close range battles. However, for close-quarters combat where the first few shots make the difference, the blaster "shotgun" is the weapon of choice.
Zolar's Note: Be careful of the nasty recoil it produces; be sure you've got some steady footing before firing this baby. Also, if you guys out there ever think to holster this thing after you've been firing with it, be sure to have some painkillers and sythskin on hand, because that barrel gets HOT.

Model: Caelli-Merced Sentinel V Heavy Blaster Pistol Type: Energy Size: Medium Ammo: 6 (custom power packs, revolver format) 25 (standard pack) Cost: 4,000 (mastercraft +1), 6,000 (mastercraft +2), 8,000 (mastercraft +3) Range Increment: 10 Critical: 19-20 Damage: 3D10 Special: Requires full action to reload, +5 BAB required
Description: An experimental model designed by the Socorran Caelli-Merced company as a follow-up to its popular Sentinel IV, this heavy blaster pistol harks back to the days of slugthrowers. The gun looks like a very large revolver pistol, and is designed to use special power packs ("shells") that fire one shot each in a revolving cylinder. The weapon is classic Caelli-Merced; each is crafted by hand and is specially balanced for gunslingers. With only six shots to a gun, it seems the wielder would be at a disadvantage; however, for those who skilled and sophisticated enough to use the Sentinel, 6 shots is often more than enough.
Due to the revolver-style chambers and single-shot packs, reloading a Sentinel V is a full-round action unless the character has the Rapid Reload feat. Due to its sophisticated design, a character without at least 5 base attack bonus suffers a -4 to all attacks with the Sentinel V.
All Sentinel V's are considered mastercraft weapons.
Zolar's Note: Apparently Torill likes being caught struggling to reload a six-shooter in a firefight. It sure is powerful, but I say that if you can put holes in something, you'd better be able to put holes in its friends too. It is pretty recognisable, though... if you're carrying this thing around, then you'd better be a real gunslinger or you'll get in over your head real quick.
Torill's Note: HEY!! I haven't been caught reloading yet, right? And besides, if you're good, you only need one shot, right? And it's really big, so... like, you can scare people and stuff. Like. Um.
Zolar's Addendum: Riiiiiggghhttt.
