Chief: A scruffy-in-a-handsome-sort-of-way human, Chief (as he prefers to be called) serves no readily apparent purpose on the ship of any kind. His primary function seems to be ordering others around, taking credit for their work and avoiding any kind of work himself. He insists he is part of the bridge crew, except when that would require taking responsibility for something. He wears a faux Imperial admiral's cap, tipped to rakish angle.
Que'Paca: A long-time companion of Chief, Que'Paca is a vaguely Mexican Rodian who acts as helm for the M4. He has a very mellow, almost lazy attitude, and is hardly ruffled by anything. He only speaks in Rodian, in a voice that trails off at the end of his sentences. He is extremely capable as a pilot, but tends to take "liberties" with his piloting. He is often seen lazing around the M4's bar, partaking in its "fine liquors" when the ship is not underway.
Valentine: A slim, lithe Trianni, she works as bridge crew, operating sensors and shields. She is very confident in her abilities, but is not boastful. She is a little fliratious and fiery, and often acts with a flourish (even in her otherwise routine job). She is also a mean card shark, and often acts as dealer in the crewman's weekly sabaac game. She will often make her opinions known, but accepts the authority of the captain (sometimes with a grudge, however). She sometimes serves as Zolar's second-in-command on "away missions."
Nom Anor: Yes, that is who you think it is. Nom Anor is actually an advance agent for the Yuuzhan Vong, a powerful extragalactic race that will invade some 25 years after the Battle of Yavin, as detailed in the New Jedi Order series of books. Nom Anor will eventually become a major agent of subterfuge, but for now he is undercover, attempting to learn the ways of these bizarre technology-driven creatures. He is attempting to infiltrate this criminal group in order to learn about underground efforts that he could exploit. He couldn't have chosen a worse place to do it. Nom Anor is currently posing as a human security officer, using his Ooglith masquer. His secretive and off-putting personality do not make him a favorite among the crew, and his naivete about technology is quite aggravating. Of course, that might be how he wants it...
Squisher and Ortugg: What do you get when you put a brain-dead ghol and a slightly-more intelligent gamorrean together? The Beavis and Butthead of the Star Wars universe, Squisher and Ortugg are impulsive, loud, petty, hungry, and would rather fight over which way to turn a screw than actually try to find out. It takes two of them to play a game of solitare (and even then they need to consult the dummies book, upside down). They are great fun to roleplay, and so they have signed on as janitors to the M4 (after previous adventuring stints...see the apocryphal adventures in the Adventure Journal). They sometimes are conscripted for security duty, and are constantly trying to volunteer for roles they are ill suited for.
Seenine and Hugo: Torill's R2 unit and lifter droid, respectively. R2-C9 was the property of a friend of Torill's before he was murdered by pirates. Torill took posession of Seenine to keep him from being auctioned off. He is equipped with a hold-out blaster, a vocabulator, a built-in comlink, a paranoid possessiveness of the VT2 and a snotty attitude to those who don't respect that. He sometimes flies the ship to lift Torill out of dangerous situations. Hugo is a former lifting skeleton (like in Aliens) that Tu'ebb equipped with an ASP droid brain for autonomous movement and function. He used to serve aboard the VT2 in its smuggling days, and now loads cargo on the M4. He only speaks in a booming "AFFIRMATIVE" or "NEGATIVE," but sometimes shows remarkable intelligence.
Tek: The chronically overworked head engineer of the M4, Tek is also the most veteran member of the crew, having served upon the original Rameseum II in its "tour of duty." He is a little twitchy and snappy, because he has the huge job of personally keeping Zolar's oft-damaged ships in working order. He is quite capable at doing so, but the huge investment of time has taken its toll on his sanity. He seems to prefer the company of droids, but the crew has recently lured him up to join their weekly sabaac games. He was also working as a mole for Vigo Sprax, letting the Crew's boss keep an eye on them, though the Crew never found out. Tek has a spikey, blond hairstyle and wears glasses and leather arm protectors and boots over his jumpsuit.
Lord Bobo: A small, spider monkey-esque alien, Bobo was a minor noble of his people. Assigned to complete a deal with a supposed scientist with a formula for a new kind of armor, he was betrayed by the con men involved and only saved by the intervention of the Rameseum Crew. Zolar and Ramses took this as a point to "convince" him to give considerable funds for the construction of the original Rameseum. Because of this, his failure to get the formula (though it wasn't his fault), and his general obnoxiousness, he was ostracized and soon became a denizen of the Rameseum. Though Bobo is generally considered small, irritating and prone to "ook"s, he has demonstrated his skill at "mixing the tunez" on the Rameseum's house deck. He is now the unofficial DJ of the M4, spinning vinyl on party nights with his trademark oversized headphones, gettin' down to the funky jams.
The Roach: A hideous, unkillable Levan cockroach the size of a small dog. Torill accidentally picked it up while stranded on Levo, and it has hung around ever since, infesting the crew's residences and waving its huge antennae around obnoxiously. A practical application of the adage that roaches can never be killed, The Roach has so far stood up to small arms fire while knawing on the character's ankles and roaring fearsomely. It generally chooses the most embarrasing or otherwise inconvienent times to show up and attack.
FR-00: FR-OO ("Froo") is a silvery-plated 3PO unit that Zolar scavenged from the wreckage of an Imperial Interdictor. He was a typical 3PO unit: worried, neurotic, and innefectual at controlling the multitude of droids that ran about the Dauphern in the days before the Rameseum II. His duty as human-cyborg relations continued with the Crew, until he was badly damaged when unexpectedly caught in the crossfire of a night attack on Jusenkyo. He was partially rebuilt by Zolar with what pieces were on hand, but his personality matrix was badly damaged. Now crotchety and griping, he can be seen lurching unsteadily around the M4, complaining about his lot and haranguing all in the vicinity with tales of "the good old days on the Pike."
That Duros Guy: Though a capable Duros tech who performs quite well as a foreman supervising other repair and overall management crews on the M4, TDG is for the most part utterly unremarkable. He is often described as reliable, "one you can lean on," a team player, and the one who you can go for for a choice bit of wisdom in a time of trouble. However, his unassuming demeanor and limited skill base (compared to other members of the crew) mean that people rarely notice him...or even remember his name. There may even be multiple Duros Guys, though this may never be proven.
Yossarian: A recent addition to the crew, Yossarian is the squadron leader of the M4's new captured TIE fighter complement. A Rebel pilot, he was demoted from a Y-Wing squadron leader to this "backwater privateer" ship after being caught selling captured supplies on the black market. Yossarian is lanky, with a mop of black hair and a big attitude. He is mouthy, sneery, and generally obnoxious to those in authority, though he gets along well enough with people of his level. He is a capable fighter pilot and a good leader, though he often ignores mission objectives while showing off.
