| The Digidems are a different breed of Digimon that are outcasts. Even evil Digimon didn't like these digies. That was until they made a deal with Devimon. By giving them the power to possess other Digimon, he destined them to take over the Digimon world by having control of the link between the digimon world and the "Digi-Destines" world: Earth. The Digidems have just discovered that world when Devimon was destroyed by the other Digimon. |

| Not all of the Digidems are aligned with the ones above. In fact, not all of them do what they do for the same reason. Some may have personal, secretive, or even malicious reasons for their actions. | |
| The Digidems of the Digimon world can not digi-volve. Instead they possess Digimon in order to gain more power. Each Digidem has its own perfered way of possessing. Some may forcibly possess a digimon during a fight while others would lure the Digimon away from anyone who might help it. After possessing, the Digimon could be left a minion to serve the Digidem or could be combined with the Digidem to create a Digidem with the power, and posibly looks, of both, or even turned into something else. A Digimon can be saved from possession, but the Digidem will leave a little of itself behind. That will act as a virus and could posibly grow into a new Digidem. New characters can be introduced this way. |

The Digidems live inside of former Devimon's castle on File Island, the main island of the digimon world. |
What do they look like |
The Digidems can look like anything you want but have human, animal, or plant characteristics. Most all Digidems have the power to possess, and less than half have the power to alter thier appearance. Your Digidem should only have this power if it is important to the character. Other powers should be based on the same thing as their looks are. A bat-like Digidem could have a screeching power. A flower-like Digidem could have a pollen power. A fish-like Digidem could have a.. uh.. I don't know. Be creative. |
What kinds of minions? |
The minions of the Digidems can be whatever Digimon is allied with the Digidems. The Digidem can demovolved them into their darkest forms. |
If they can possess |
The Digi-Desined provide a certain problem for the Digidems. A Digidem cannot possess a Digimon linked with a human. Of course that doesn't stop them from possing the human, but possession of a human has a different effect. The human just gains the Digidem's evil personality while his or her Digimon is demovolved. |
Can they be have human |
Ah, I've been waiting for that question. This brings us to the Digital Devoted. Just as the Destined have been fortold, so have the Devoted. Only a few Devoted will be allowed, so unless you have a good reason to have one, don't. |

The profile of the Digidems does not have to be like Digi-Destines. They can show what they look like, minions, powers, and past history before they allied with Devimon. |
