Silent Hill is a pretty cool game, and the start Cinematic is awesome. You play as Harry Mason, father of Cheryl Mason, and the cinematic shows you on your way to Silent Hill on holiday. The hot cop chick is faithful to a call, and comes to investigate silent hill. She passes you on her way, but suddenly a shadowed figure steps into the path of Harrys car.. the cops bike lays on the side of the road, and a shadowed figure walks the road ahead. You swerve,crash and become unconcious. When you awake...little cheryl is long gone, and snow is falling out of season.
Graphics in this game are not all that great, as they have employed the old 'fog everything out'technique. And it is also a major take off of the 'Resident Evil' series. Sound effects are pretty good, and the movie cut scenes in 3D are awesome. When harrys health gets low, dual shock's will pulse to the beat of his heart, a really cool feature. This game is very difficult, and should take u ages to complete all the puzzles...and survive. There are four official ending possibilties, depending on what actions you take, aswell as two other frickin weird alien endings (which i have not personally seen). Endings range from a cinematic at the end of harry dead on the wheel, to being reunited with cheryl, and harry marrying cybil, the police chick.
Overall, not a bad game, but it has a few faults. P.S Anyone know why Lisa died??? I seriously think she should not have died...she was cool goddamn!
