Turok 2 : seeds of evil

Review by : The Mad Nutter

Format : N64

Type : 1st person shooter

Players : 1 - 4

The story is short and simple, some evil mutant eh...monster thing have send out an army of monsters to destroy everything that is good in this world. So you must play as turok and try to stop them.

The graphics are quite detailed but not perfect, for instance the 2d fire ( which doesn’t even hurt you). Each time you kill a monster it almost dances around before it dies which the first time looks nice but gets boring after you killed the 30th monster. Its just too bad that the gameplay ain´t half as good as the graphics. All you do is run around pulling switches and shooting monsters. And to make it worse the levels are way too big and confusing so you will miss a thing and have to seach the whole level through again. Even a simple thing like moveing turok ain´t a easy task, the controls are too clumsy and a quite irritating part of the game involves jumping. There is nothing worse than haveing to jump when you got absolutely no control of what you are doing, which makes the game even more frustrating.

Turok 2 has quite a lot of weapons and some gigantic levels but lacks gameplay. Also you need a memory card to save and it takes up all the space. So a bit of advice DO NOT BUY THIS GAME.
