i want to buy a MD, but i also want a cd writer. With the MD, its small, compact, has a anti shock memory, and you could record on it. with the cd writer, you could do everything the MD can except that the CDR media is big and bulky. but the entire world uses the CDR media. Little does anybody know that some albums come out on md, but everyone knows that every single album comes out on cd's. Since the MD is $300, and the CDR is $200, its a tough decision. its size that counts. With the CDR, yo ucan also backup your hard drive, and make backup copies of your software. you can't do that with a MD. It you plan to get a CDR, you have to get a portable CD player too, and a good one with great features is about $100. So both deals are about the same. the media for both products is cheap. but the cd's are cheaper, around $2 each, compared to the MD's that run about $2.50. They store the same amount of information, but the MD's have a tendency not to crack as fast as CD's. You can trade CD's with your friends who have cd players, but since not that many people have md's, you can't do alot. so your just benifitting yourself. but since the world is looking for smaller, faster, better products, its a really a tough decision. Size vs compatitiblity. What is the thing to get?
Cd's are the best thing to get right now since everything is compatible with it. but in the future when digital storage might come into perspective into MD's, then MD's would be better, and lower prices would come along. Cd's you could share with your friends, backup everything, have everything that a md player has except for size, so what should you do? buy pants with big pockets |
