I think that open air headphones and in-the-ear headphones (ITE) are great products. But which one is better? With open air headphones, you get better quality, better frequency resopnse, better bass drivers, but its too big! They are made with hard plastic, and the plastic can break if its in your bookbag or something. ITE headphones are smaller, lighter, more compact, and have a lesser tendency to break. But you have to stick it in your ear, and i don't htink that your friends wold wanna put your earwax covered headphones in their ears, that's just plain sick. But Since its in your ear, at a higher volume, you won't disturb the people around you, and it is actually louder than open air headphones. Don't you hate it when you could hear what the person next to you is listenting to. To me that just sucks, especially when they're not playing limp bizkit. The prices of both products are mostly the same, but some open air headphones can run over $120 because they cancel noise. But good pairs of both headphones are about $15 and are made by sony. So I think that open air headphones are better, and they have excellent quality, just don't play your music too loud though. |
